If Clippers either make it to or win the championship does our pick drop from 28 to 29 or 30?
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

No. The pick is already fixed at that position unless its a lottery pick. Playoff records don't matter in draft spot.

Yuck.  I will be very displeased if the Clippers win the championship.

Never a good thing when a team from LA succeeds.

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I stop liking Doc the day he said "yeah Danny bring 2 new players from China, I don't even know their names" and he laugh.
That says a lot to me, + I always hate the way he never gives a chance to the rookies.
Too old style coaching for me, thank god we have Brad Stevens now, very refreshing and more in tune with today's basketball.

Shocked Austin has had the playoff series he has had. Honestly think that gave the team an enormous lift that could propel them to WCF, and maybe beyond..

So many people were just giving Golden State the championship...glad to see them take a gut punch from the Grizzlies.  Not sure if it continues, but good to see.

A Clippers/Cleveland finals would put me in an awkward position.  The old fashioned, positive side would enjoy either a father/son celebration or the reward for the prodigal son returning...on the other hand, as a Celtic fan, would kind of hate to see EITHER of them win.

Guess I'll just have to keep rootin' for our former Captain...go WIZ...go PP!!!!

The only positive from Clippers winning the Title

It's NOT the LAKERS.

actually, earlier discussions here showed this is not the case at all. this is one of cb's urban legends. doc played rookies decent minutes a number of times. for example:

gomes, 23 minutes/game as a rookie
rondo, 23.5
jefferson 15
tony allen, 16.4
west, 13
glen davis, 14
powe, 11.4

here is a complete list, including doc's time in orlando. he gave rookies time on the court.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Oh, I'd definitely have to root for the Clippers.  I feel no animosity toward Doc.  He did what he felt he had to do.  And the Celtics got a better than expected haul for him.  And we got Brad Stevens.  Win-win.

As for a team from LA winning, I'm kind of meh.  To me, it's the same thing as the Mets winning the World Series.  Ideal?  Not necessarily, but they are the cross-town rivals of our sworn enemy.

it's actually not a myth.  need to supply the other part of the equation --> what 'vets' did he sit in favor of playing these guys?  the answer always comes down to this, he plays young players when he has no veteran option to throw out on the court instead

I moved to Cleveland few months ago so I wouldnt mind seeing the Cavs win, it will be great for the city.
I still cant stand Lebron... (my son asked me for a jersey, I said NO WAY)
