To put this in a little bit of context, the guy who ran the Houston Twitter feed got fired for a relatively innocuous tweet (at least, relative to the internet/twittersphere). Do y'all think anything similar should happen here?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I'm not sure if I think he should get fired, but I am pretty sure that is what is going to happen.

The Rockets tweet was less outrageous, and it was actually funny yet he got fired. I think the person who made that is already gone.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

The guy catching the girl and then throwing her down was a pretty poor choice.  If he had just declined to catch her, there's no issue.

Who do you think he is, Candyman? Beetlejuice?

Didn't realize we were dabbling in the dark arts here at CB  :)

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Pretty simple fix, after he throws her just splice in a shot where she's gently cradled by Timofey Mozgov in a backwards jersey, who looks at the camera and says, "No matter who she roots for, always #LeanIn to make sure she has...the time of her life."  Thumbs up, fade to black.

I agree with other people that this is really stupid in all aspects, concept, delivery etc. The part that is kind of the hardest to believe is her coming back with an ice pack. If they had even just left it as him not catching her (like Roy said) this would have only been a bad commercial. Having her be "injured" and "learning her lesson" is egregiously tone deaf.

I'll never understand how stuff like this gets green lit. Regardless of how you feel, this was always going to be controversial.
I can't believe a multimillion professional sports franchise ran this. It looks like something written by a 13-year old and filmed in someone's den with a couple of buddies. Eek.

This. TP to you both.

TP.

That one is actually pretty funny.
It also isn't a case of intentionally dropping someone.

Again, Cavs video isn't promoting domestic violence, but they probably should have known better.

Yeah, this one is entirely different. Taking away the fact that the Cavs video totally copied this one, there was clearly no intent to injure - truly an accident. I don't laugh at a lot of commercials, but this one caught me off guard the first time I saw it. I suppose it could be insensitive toward overweight women, but it was pretty unexpected.

I basically agree with what Roy said - pulling away at the last second would have been way more acceptable than going all Ultimate Warrior on the girl (and then showing that she was actually injured).
