I saw this. I think it certainly was in bad taste, and I'm not sure it was the best idea to play that in the stadium, but I really don't think they did it on purpose to promote domestic violence. It's almost certain this could get ugly with anti-violence and feminists groups.

Dumb video but its not promoting domestic violence.

It's more of an illustration of sports fandom but in today's "faux outrage" era, you need to be more acute about how to portray it.  A guy tossing a girl to the floor probably isn't the best idea.

I'll never understand how stuff like this gets green lit. Regardless of how you feel, this was always going to be controversial.

Am I allowed to get outraged about how stupid they make the dude look?

I mean, supporting the Cavs over the Bulls? Ew.

I can't believe a multimillion professional sports franchise ran this. It looks like something written by a 13-year old and filmed in someone's den with a couple of buddies. Eek.

The video was just dumb. Do I think they're promoting DV, no, but it was in poor taste and I can't believe that it was approved to be honest. They could have gone a number of routes to get the point across without heaving her on the floor, having an ice pack to her head, and saying don't make the same mistake she did. They're opening themselves up for the criticism that's sure to ensue.

I'm more offended by the HORRIBLE ACTING.

I'm sure we'll see a Benny the Bull response in the next day or two.  He doesn't take things like this lying down.

poor taste, but I don't think it was promoting domestic violence. Had that been a guy, people will just think the video is dumb.

That's probably the worst thing about this video.

You're right, Cleveland is usually so professional and polished in the way that they interact with the public.

The domestic violence was not really that bad, but in the current climate, I'm not sure how an NBA employee could make a video with anything regarding domestic violence.

I was significantly more appalled by how bad the video was than him actually tossing her. I wouldn't have understood it was a parody if not for the music.

However, I was impressed that they were able to find an attractive girl in Cleveland to make that video.

All jokes aside, I'm not sure how someone could work there way up to get an NBA job then think this video was worth throwing it away for.
