I REALLY want Love this summer, but as big of a baby as he is being about this whole accident (and YES it was an accident) I'm guessing that KO will have to be gone for that to happen.

I understand why he's upset and angry; I'd be angry too if I forced my way to a better team only to miss the playoffs due to an injury. However, that he hasn't realized by now that he overreacted a bit and it was OBVIOUSLY just a freak accident is a little worrisome and suggests that he's an entitled brat.

That's a shame, too, because I'd love to have KO coming off of the bench behind Love. Even short bursts of playing them together would wreak havoc on the opposing defense.

glad we didn't get this whiner. we're seeing the same selfish streak in cleveland that made him a pariah in minnesota.

would love to see him on the lakers, though, he could be the last torpedo needed to send that franchise all the way to the bottom.

Well if Love wants to be that way..Yank his other arm next year....I cant wait to see the next time those 2 box each other out...maybe it could be more exciting than the Pacquiao fight.

+1. Lol

Lol how soft Kevin Love.

Crying over a tangled rebound? Get over it, playoff intensity...if you can't handle it then get the eff out of there!

You've tried publically Kelly...and you've tried privately.

Now, kick the dust off your shoes and move on.  The rest is on Love.

His resistance to accepting the apology kills any interest I ever had for him to come to Boston.  Yeah, his shot at a NBA championship may have gone down the drain with his injury...tell it to Wall from the Wizards.  Life happens...Celtic fans have lived with injuries, and sadly, deaths, that changed the future forever.  The only way you get pass it is by accepting it for what it is and moving on.

I would gladly trade KO away if it meant Love would come here. Haha.  :P

On one hand this could be great news for the potential of Love signing here. On the other hand it could just be a negotiating ploy to not rule out any potential suitors. Although everyone will be offering him a max contract, he could leverage multiple offers into a no trade clause or a player option after one year.

How does pointing a finger and crying .....he hurt me ......like a first grader help Loves  situation?none to me .....who is he crying too?  Definitely not me. .....

It takes a very immature  person , very insecure person to act like he has in public.

We didn't see IT crying and stomping his foot over the injury DTHUG.....an known assassin ...laid on him.

Love actions and comments ...have lead me to now have a whole different view of him.

Instead of a victim ,    I now see a spoil creep.

It is his right to handle it how ever he wants.   He doesn't owe Kelly contrition.

I have always thought Love was soft and a fair weather player.   The reason is he does not play D, which takes mainly effort.   Him running to the locker room, does not change my view, medically it was the smart thing to do.   I do not care if he let's KO apologize or not, you should not either.

It is a story, that your making, at the end of the day it is between those two.

It is going to funny how many people who are trashing Love will turn around and be his biggest fans if he signs in Boston.

Love is entitled to act how he wants to act after undergoing an extremely painful injury. Who cares if he won't publicly accept KO's apology, if they end up on the same team I'm sure the hatchet will be buried.

Its so easy for you guys to criticize and judge Love. You aren't or have never experienced what hes going through. Now I'm not defending him, nor am I conceding the fact KO or Love is in the wrong here. Its all about being open minded, and understanding that as an pro athlete injuries suck, and they take a lot of time to recover from.

Love probably just vented that out of frustration.

Now I will say this.

Carmelo isn't a leader. Neither is Love. But a lot of users here would gladly have brought in Melo when Rondo was here, and I'm pretty sure some people will still say yes. Chauncey Billups stated that Melo isn't the type of leader that would energize the team, or vocally command his team on the court. That isn't who he is, and honestly I don't see Love as one either. But both can still be the go to scorers, its all about what team you can build around him.

A player like Love/Melo is someone you should want to bring in regardless of their personality/behavior. I would've even taken a flier on DMC, even after Pierce/KG left, because you never know until you try.

well, then who cares what we think?

Love is entitled to act how he wants, and we are allowed to act how we want (bloggers attacking players)

I don't want a guy who doesn't play defense on the celtics, but if we sign him, i'll be pulling for him, of course

But i'd rather have mike love :)

I'm glad to know Love isn't that petty to let this incident affect his decision this summer. I'm all for getting Kevin Love but won't be broken up if he doesn't sign here. At this point I really just want Love to leave Cleveland more than anything. No matter what happens though, this summer is going to be interesting.
