I don't blame Love. I mean Kelly did yank his arm out. I'd be pretty upset myself, now that my season is over.

Oh, come now--not only was Love the initial perpetrator--grinding his elbow into KO's belly, but KO obviously wasn't intending to hurt Love.

Love's childish and unfounded accusations toward KO, still not retracted, grow all the more shameful over time.

I think I'm with Love on this one.  I mean he clearly knows KO is sorry or he won't believe him if they talk - so there is nothing gained in a meeting.  Well nothing gained except to make KO feel better, but why would Love (or anyone for that matter) care about that.  Maybe Love wants KO to feel bad so he doesn't do that crap again.  Maybe he wants KO to feel bad because he is p---ed he is missing his first playoffs.  KO seems like a desperate ex trying to make himself look and feel better.  Just quit calling man.

Refusing to take a call and not taking back his ugly accusations?

That's just petty and uncalled for.

I won't root for Love again.

(And maybe the C's want KO to keep reaching out, because they don't want the issue to keep Love from signing here.)

Yeah, at the point where I'm not sure I'd want to invest so much in this guy given the attitude I can see from him at times.

My opinion:
Love is being petty not taking Olynyk's apology. That being said, you would be petty too. Love is an elite player and gets trashed for not being able to lead his teams to the playoffs. Then he gets traded to a great team and makes the playoffs, but during the regular season he has one of his worst statistical seasons and everyone is trashing him again.

Then he finally starts to play well, Cleveland looks like they could win a title and he is finally silencing his critics, but he gets hurt by someone else and now he needs to hear the same complaints for at least another year.

Honestly I would be upset and petty too in that situation. I'm sure he will relent and accept KO's apology, but right now he is too upset.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

He only got traded to the Cavs with his blessing--the deal wouldn't have gone down otherwise.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make it seem like he was the victim, just that he feels disrespected was close to doing the thing that would change a lot of negative words spoke about him, then got hurt and was unable to.

Very few things worth seeing ever come from Bleacher Report.

This is one of them:

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I would not be petty. KO has tried multiple times it sounds like to apologize. For this situation accept it and move on.

I get Love's initial response, but now, having some time to look at the replay (and see he was doing the same thing to KO a few seconds earlier), he's being petty, and it says something about him, imho. I'm fine with players not liking each other on the court, but when someone is trying to apologize to you privately for an unfortunate injury, and you refuse to talk to them, that's disappointing. I always knew Love was soft, but didn't realize he's also petty. I've never been that excited about him as a player, and am even less so now if he opts out.

That's right.....Kelly set out to dislocate the whiners shoulder ...... ::)

Our KO.....the softy , who gets abused every game ,  planned to take out Kevin Love ? ::)

The flower child , poster hoy for do gooders ......planned on hurt n Kevin Love ? Right...... ::)

Only one under he age of ten years could possibly believe he was planning to injure the man, if you see the Whole thing......which the whiner does not want to discuss.

Kevin Love started it, the video is clear.....he tangled Kelly up ..on purpose.......KO is stronger muscled his way out of the whiners hold .  The whiner got hurt play n big boy basketball.

KO was a part of , but not the sole reason Love got hurt.......

Love needs to come to grips , with he got hurt playing dirty basketball .....had he not tied up KO , then ...he doesn't get hurt.

Kelly can fell sorry for him.....yes.....but he don't need to shoulder the blame .

It's as much Loves fault as Kelly's

Life's ruff Kevin you baby ......grow up and accept setbacks .
