I think Danny definitely has the ammo to trade into the top 8-10 . That is where Johnson is projected to be . He will be as good, if not better than Crowder defensively , and has a solid offensive game already

Then hop to re-sign crowder to a Bradley type 8 mil per year contract ( Would have to move Bradley or Wallace's contract in order to still have enough to offer a max next year )

Sign Jordan to 15 mil range

PG: Thomas      / AB
SG: Smart        / Turner
SF: Crowder     / Stanley Johnso
PF: Sully           / KO
 C: Jordan        / Zeller

would have to eventually add legit scorers at the PF , PG and/or SG spot

We would be lethal Defensively

I like Stanley Johnson and like signing Crowder but Jordan will probably resign with LA Clippers for max. That owner is loaded.

How would we score?  Defense only gets you so far.

perhaps the OP envisions a lot of games with scores of 4 to 2.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Wouln't it be a good thing to have the best defensive team in the league, who only needs to add some go to scorers to be in contender ? A year before the salary cap will skyrocket so we could sign those scorers?

Both Thomas and Sullinger, who were listed in the OP's starting lineup, have nice offensive games. And Smart has been showing some signs in the post season that he has some game off the bounce.

Yep.  Seems like the real deal to me.  I'd be stoked about that.

Sadly we gave that away(tanking) so we could watch the Avery Bradley and Evan Turner playoff show.

Depends on where he goes in the draft.  If Ainge likes him enough and he falls into the 8-12 range, it should be possible to move up.

I guess that that comes down to personal preference.  Don't get me wrong, defense is great, but if you don't have guys who can score, it won't mean that much.  What does flat Stanley ;) do offensively?

I think we're ALL gonna be greatly disappointed---when Crowder jumps ship as soon as free agency starts...He's playing for his next contract right now---and that interview Abby Chin did with his father, didn't give me great hope he's coming back.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.
