I'm not sure if stats back it up, but it seems like when Iguodala is not guarding Lebron, Lebron seems to go off more - whether it be on Barnes, Klay, or even Green.

A guy like Iguodala is indispensable, much like Kawhi last year. Kawhi was unreal in 2014. Just feel like he's the MVP for that reason, even without gaudy stats. Kawhi's 20+ point outbursts sure helped his case last year for sure.

This has been quite a series.

LeBron putting up Wilt numbers, Curry struggling at first but eventually bursting into flames and taking over, Warriors switching up the starting lineup.


So crazy that a guy who anchored the league's best defense went from starting center in the first two games of the Finals to a DNP-CD.

You need to be a two way player. That's just how it goes now. It's the same reason why LRMbaM is basically unemployed.

And it's really about the style. Bogut can't run with the other four, and it's looking like the way to beat Cleveland is to run them out of the gym.

But that's the beauty of it. The Warriors can adjust to any style of play they need to win. And they have a ton of personnel to do so without giving up a lot on both sides of the ball. And credit to Steve Kerr and that staff being willing to adjust to what works, and the players for willing to put their egos aside for the sake of winning.

Now they're one win away.

Let's not get carried away, though. The Warriors are basically playing two variations on the same scheme: run fast and shoot lots of jumpers and run faster and shoot lots of jumpers. They have good enough perimeter defenders (underrated in today's NBA) that they can switch on every possession, which lets them get away with playing like this and is a major difference from the Warriors of the last decade or so.

Close out game for the chip, definitely going 7! GSW wont have the put 'em away mentality, I bet they are thinking we have a cushion instead of must win. Cavs should be extra tired but I guarantee LBJ finds a way to take it to 7 and if he does there are 2 days off b4 g7.

I am surprised Shawn Marion has not played in the Finals. He has declined sure and is a below average shooter but I would have thought his defensive versatility and rebounding would be useful against the Warriors small ball lineups especially since the Cavs only alternatives off the bench are Mike Miller and James Jones who are both abysmal defender / rebounders.

The really odd thing is that he had a few seasons early in his career where he shot in the high 70s.  But back then he was averaging around seven free throw attempts a game.

Yeah he seems to have developed a complex over the years.  Like Nick Anderson but much slower to develop.
