but i believe lebron actually had a team playing with him in 2013, did he not? i make this point since this year he has no real team playing with him.

lets face it, tonight, aside from lebron and thompson, the cavs were completely excretable. outside of lebron's 11 assists, the entire cavs team had 6.

smith, shump, delly, and mozgov shot a combined 10 for 34. j.r. was classic j.r. and chucked up 14 shots from 3 point land, making 4 of them.

james had 14 rebounds. everyone else not named thompson on the cav team combined for 13 rebounds.

lebron put out a truly heroic 40 points tonight as part of a triple double. and his team lost by 13 points.

the next game may be in cleveland, but it also is in less than 48 hours and includes a cross country flight. lebron has closed out the past two games by running on fumes. lebron being "simply" heroic and super human has not been enough so far. let's see if he can be more than heroic in the next game.

My opinion is that Andre Iguodala should be the MVP if the Warriors close the series out. Passion, grit... and all that doesn't show up in the box score. Hopefully he has scored just enough to get the MVP, as PPG seems to be looked at more than I feel it should.

it feels like him guarding Lebron so much has adversely affected his legs during late game FT shooting. he has been outstanding, all things considered

It's funny, Iguodala is doing a great job defending LeBron. We can see that. But LeBron has been incredibly inefficient the entire post-season. I wonder how much is Iggy and how much is just the fact LeBron all year just hasn't been the same shooting the ball.

Every great team in today's league needs a guy who plays the Iggy / Kawhi role -- can cover multiple positions, handle the ball and pass fairly well, and hit the open three.

And it's really about the style. Bogut can't run with the other four, and it's looking like the way to beat Cleveland is to run them out of the gym.

But that's the beauty of it. The Warriors can adjust to any style of play they need to win. And they have a ton of personnel to do so without giving up a lot on both sides of the ball. And credit to Steve Kerr and that staff being willing to adjust to what works, and the players for willing to put their egos aside for the sake of winning.

Now they're one win away.
