it is becoming clear that unless lebron scores around 40 points the cavs are in trouble. he has played an amazing series, but 4 games into it and he seems exhausted already.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

This series goes to game 7

  • GOT IT!!!

GS should win Game 5. Game 6 might be a LeBron God mode game. I've never gotten the feeling Cleveland was going to win this series tho.

Neither of these teams has impressed me at all.  Crappy basketball.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Agreed. LeBron is having an all time great series prior to this game. And the Warriors responded by defending much tighter and getting back to their offensive rhythm.

I guess it's going to take more than that to be impressed.

I know Bogut's been thoroughly awful in this series but if GSW win it all I'll be glad to see him collect a championship ring.

Agreed. He has been the anchor of the best defensive team in the league of the regular season. He's just outmatched against the Cleveland bigs and his inability to score (I'm baffled, he can normally score on the inside before, he seems to have lost that ability) is just hurting the Warriors rhythm on the offense.

It's hard to see him (he's my favorite player) be sort of not needed, but a ring will cure everything.

I'm really happy for David Lee and Andre Iguodala.

Two quality players benched and somewhat forgotten during the Warriors' dominant regular season, now coming up huge for this team.

Honestly, in the Eastern Conference, Iguodala and Lee could easily be the second and third best players on a solid playoff team playing next to a star ball handler like John Wall or Kyle Lowry.
pho, unrelated to the game and simply out of curiosity, who is the guy in your pix? he seems to be less than thrilled with life.  :)

Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad.
thanks. i dont have a tv so i dont watch the show. is he the teacher in the series?
No he is a professional fixer , he is now on the show Better Call Saul

Why do you think he's playing so poorly?  It's hard to believe that Mozgov is that much better than him.

Lots of narratives that can be attached to this game but to me Golden State going small early was the key.  Playing Lee off the bench has helped as well.  Kerr clearly decided having Bogut or Ezeli out there isn't worth the detriment to their spacing, and he's been validated so far.

Cleveland being utterly exhausted would be a close second though.  Not the same team as in the first 3 games.  When I saw "Dellavedova (fatigue) will play in Game 4" on the ticker I thought this might be coming.

Heck of a series so far, though.

I don't know. Defensively and rebounding wise he has fought and has been decent. It's his dumb fouls that's killing him. And he just can't keep up with Thompson's athleticism and mobility.

The issue with Bogut is that he doesn't even try to score.  I'm not really sure how teams did not take advantage of that during the regular season but key to the Cavs defense has been being able to completely focus on everybody but Bogut.

How often do you think Iggy will score as much as he did in this one? This is the Cavs series if Iggy can't do this 2 more times and they will need the Cavs to be tired again. 2 days off might hurt GSW more.

I wish with everything I have that GSW will win this series but I don't see it happening.
