There's no one on either team that I'm rooting for to get a ring more than Andre Iguodala.  I love the way he's playing right now, his energy, his passion, the fun he seems to be having.

That guy has been an awesome (always somewhat underrated) pro, and he's still an awesome pro.

Go Dubs!!

Go Iggy!!

LeBron, in his press conference, states that going back to Boston down 3-2 was the most challenging position in a playoff series of his career. Not sure if folks saw that.

So in his press conference, Lebron said he didn't go through concussion protocol...yet he admitted he had a headache the rest of the game....ok then?

But, the final question of his press conference was "going into game 5 at golden state, would you call this the toughest challenge of your career?"...and he actually gave a little bit of love to Boston, saying he still considers the 2012 game 6 at TD Garden the biggest challenge of his career to date.  Granted he was successful in that challenge, but I have to admit, it's pretty cool hearing the best player in the world saying a game and series against the Celtics has been the biggest challenge so far of his career.

Yes, it's fun to see someone squirming around yelling "oh my god" after a blow to his head, that results in bleeding, yet never undergoes the concussion protocol. It's a joke.. these are league-appointed neuropsychologists that are often doing testing, and are clearly there for show. Regardless, GS beat them up every which way... hope and believe it will carry over. Not sure he ever would've hit his head had he not nose-dived into the cameras, but such is life.

I know Bogut's been thoroughly awful in this series but if GSW win it all I'll be glad to see him collect a championship ring.

Agreed. He has been the anchor of the best defensive team in the league of the regular season. He's just outmatched against the Cleveland bigs and his inability to score (I'm baffled, he can normally score on the inside before, he seems to have lost that ability) is just hurting the Warriors rhythm on the offense.

It's hard to see him (he's my favorite player) be sort of not needed, but a ring will cure everything.

Why do you think he's playing so poorly?  It's hard to believe that Mozgov is that much better than him.

I don't know. Defensively and rebounding wise he has fought and has been decent. It's his dumb fouls that's killing him. And he just can't keep up with Thompson's athleticism and mobility.

The issue with Bogut is that he doesn't even try to score.  I'm not really sure how teams did not take advantage of that during the regular season but key to the Cavs defense has been being able to completely focus on everybody but Bogut.

Mike

Yeah I agree with this as well. There were several times when he was WIDE open yet he elected to kick them out for the 3. For some reason he isnt as agressive in this series than against Houston (where he had a fun to watch battle with Dwight). Heck I think Ezeli was more agressive in scoring than him. Its for this reason I wanted GS to go with Lee and Speights early, because they at least look to score more.

Seemed like LeBron scraped his head on the lens edge more than directly hitting it.  Probably very painful but didn't seem like the kind of hit that would create a concussion.  Klay Thompson not doing the protocol after Ariza gave him a flying knee to the head was much more egregious in my opinion.

As for Boston, one of the reasons I like LeBron better than I used to is that he's consistently been very respectful of those Celtics series - heck, we're probably the reason he went for the Big 3 model in Miami in the first place.  He's called Pierce his greatest rival several times too.

100%...Lebron actually admitted that in his on-court post game interview in 2011 when the Heat beat the Celtics in 5.  He said "part of the reason why we came together is because of what they did, that blueprint"...again it doesn't lineup exactly considering our blueprint was done through trades and they did it through free agency, but I still understand what he was getting at

Neither of these teams has impressed me at all.  Crappy basketball.

Go to bed, Jonny.  It's past your bed time.

No need to get snotty when you don't agree with an opinion.
Sorry, but compared to other Championship series, this one has been pretty crappy IMHO.   Maybe you like watching teams chuck up a bunch of threes and miss but I don't think it's exciting basketball.  And due to injuries, there are a lot of bench players getting a ton of minutes.  Last year, we got to see Lebron/Wade/Bosh vs Duncan/Parker/Leonard.  That's a hell of a lot better than watching Dellevadova, Shumpert and JR Smith.  Overall, the Cavs were painful to watch last night...almost as painful as GS was in Game 3.
Thank God the Stanley Cup Finals are still going!!!!!!
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

To each his own. I understand the number of injuries has put a damper on the series, but despite that, we've seen a number of exciting, hard-fought games already. Two overtime games, one near comeback, three all-time performances by LeBron, and frenzied atmospheres in both arenas. I hate LeBron, but watching him try to carry a team of scrubs against the NBA's deepest team and best defense is really fun. If the Cavs win this in 7 (which is highly unlikely) and LeBron averages a near triple-double, his Finals performance has got to rival any of Jordan's performances.

Good points.  The storyline of Lebron's return is carrying the series.  Basketball is better than no basketball but some of the previous rounds were a lot better than these Finals.  That's all.  It's just an ugly style of basketball.  A lot of threes and Lebron trying to do it all.  Not exactly an example of good team basketball.

They say that golden state team is top 5 all time.  Lebron is a top 5 all time player.  The series is tied.  First two games went to overtime. If you aren't impressed with this series, basketball probably isn't your sport.

I'm enjoying this series, but lets be honest, this GS team is not even close to being a top 5 all-time team, or even top 20 all-time.

It's also highly debatable if Lebron is a top 5 player of all time. Sure he's great, but is he clearly better than Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Tim Duncan, Shaq, Kobe Bryant, etc.?
