So can we talk about how this year has exposed that Thibs isn't quite the elite coach he's been propped up as?
Why? Just because his running the starters into the ground isn't "cute" anymore.
His offense is largely garbage, as are his rotations. On a team with Pau Gasol, Aaron Brooks, Nikola Mirotic, a 20 PPG Jimmy Butler, and the ghost of Derrick Rose, the best offense he's ever managed to cull together is ranked... tenth. That's it. He's never once had a top 10 offense before this season.
His rep was built off being an assistant on the 2008 title team, a single ECF appearance as head coach, and upsetting a gutless Nets team.
