I've seen much better C's teams get destroyed easier.

Watching a much better team get killed is a different kind of painful.  In that case, you know they're capable of competing, but they don't.

The Celtics didn't play their best game today, but I think they played a lot closer to their best than the Cavs did.  They're just nowhere close to being ready to hang with a contender, and it shows.

All of that would be fine if they all kinds of potential and just needed time to grow.  This isn't the 2010 Thunder.

CBS did a poor job today.

1) Have Crowder against Lebron as much as possible. ET can't do anything vs Lebron
2) Have AB and Smart out there as much as possible against Irving

IT will get his points but it doesn't have to be at the expense of Irving getting points
TP. I agree! Have IT guard JR/Shumpert instead.

Will be interesting to see if Stevens comes up with any clever adjustments, but based on the talent gap, all four games should go like this.  Blowout sweep.
I think you have a different definition of blowout than most people.  C's still within 10 right now

It's a ten point game, but it's pretty clear that the Cavs can get a run anytime they need one if the Celtics get too close.

The game wasn't close.  Cavs were in control.  They will sweep us with 75% effort.

It's CBS's first playoff game ever too, he will learn. He has improved a huge deal this year compared to last year as an NBA coach.

At least we showed up. Lack of talent especially in the front court is evident..

Your not going to beat the Cavs. Clear cut #1 in the East.

If the score is any indication were 2 legit Free agent Front Court Players and a Veteran point guard, away from contending again!

Eh, don't know about that. We've been fine until we started turning the ball over and and Kyrie just went bonkers. We could have been easily killed, but we hung tight.

I say solid night. We just need to clean up some of the mistakes and we're going to at least be in the hunt.

Sad, they just missed out on beating the point spread.  I thought 11.5 points would be a solid bet.

Considering this only year 2 of the the rebuild I'd say they ahead of schedule. The roster will get upgraded.

I hope so.  CBS loves to spread his lineup out on the floor.  He has a schedule he likes to follow and it won't work again the Cavs

After the 1st quarter, CBS sees lebron coming in the game, plug in Crowder right away. Lebron goes to sit down, rest Crowder.  Same with having Smart against Irving. Irving had a tough time vs Smart vs anyone else on the court

Sure, but Stevens is growing as a coach from this season and series, and he's our best building block. Smart, Sullinger, KO, and James Young also have room to grow as players, and we have a ton of assets and cap space to upgrade. This is a great start to our rebuild imo.
