I'm not sure I'm getting all the Evan Turner hate around here.  Is it because he couldn't stop Lebron James?

Was that really an expectation anybody had for him?

I think he's played well.  He helped get the team off to a good start by getting in the lane and making plays early.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Turner MVP last week

Turner wanted off the team Game 1

CelticsBlog summed up in two sentences.  Haha.

So, does it make me a bad fan if I admit that Kyrie is my favorite non-Celtic?

I could have done without him hitting that shot, though.

I thought Cousins was your favourite non Celtic?

Irving will come down to earth in the 2nd half

I'm not a big Kyrie fan.  Too shot happy for a point guard, even though I'm the furthest thing from a point guard purist.

My favorite non Celtic is definitely Kawhi Leonard.  Does everything I want a basketball player to do.

Yup ....we need him....he is THE LEBron .....stopper

Me too. Leonard is one of my fav

If we had him instead of Turner,  I would feel good about our chances to beat the Cavs

I'm cringing every time we double team, as the rotations are just late and the Cavs move the ball well. At some point we need to just stand our ground and don't double.

This. It just seems like a matter of time before they make a couple of passes and hit the 3. When players of their calibre attract double teams so often, maybe the most unsettling thing we can do is not to.

Turner just go home

Tp! I've been saying it all year.
If it makes you feel any better... you only have to put up with him for 14 more quarters.

I feel the same .....about you

Keep it nice guys.  We're all fans.
I'm rooting for them. The team is playing admirably. They have great effort. Great execution. I still expect a brutal sweep, though.  Talent matters in the NBA.  There is a massive talent gap here.

Irving has hit 3 tough threes. One with Smart all over him. Another with Isaiah all over him. And that deep one to end the half. Not much else they could do.

I think they've defended LeBron well as possible considering the personnel.

He was utterly atrocious in the second quarter.  Multiple turnovers, poor defense, lazy getting back etc. Would prefer Crowder get his minutes going forward.

I just think this is a poor series for him. He can't guard Lebron, so I would replace Crowder with him to allow Bass and him to switch off and on with Lebron and Love.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Brutal sweep? So you're essentially saying 4 blowouts. You say some outlandish things.

Exactly. Those 3 threes are the difference in the game right now and Kyrie won't keeping hitting those. We are only down 8 vs the top team in the east in a season where we were supposed to be a bottom 5 team. We are looking [dang] good right now.

I would like to see Gerald Wallace on Lebron.

It think he would get under his skin.
