I remember making a thread about 6 months ago asking what we'd have to give up to get Kyrie in exchange for Rondo.
I also remember being torched and dragged down the CB proverbial street for it in all the replies/discussion

I also said there was no chance in hell we'd be in the playoffs without Rondo and I was proven very wrong.


These refs and Kyrie are just killing us.

Irving has hit 3 tough threes. One with Smart all over him. Another with Isaiah all over him. And that deep one to end the half. Not much else they could do.

I think they've defended LeBron well as possible considering the personnel.

Exactly. Those 3 threes are the difference in the game right now and Kyrie won't keeping hitting those. We are only down 8 vs the top team in the east in a season where we were supposed to be a bottom 5 team. We are looking [dang] good right now.

Those threes and the non calls on Lebron. I was really surprised the announcers called them out on those calls. The league doesn't like that.

one potential positive is that every cav starter but irving has 2 fouls. a few of them could be in foul trouble quickly. hey, you have to derive hope from where ever you can.

Keep it nice guys.  We're all fans.

I'm rooting for them. The team is playing admirably. They have great effort. Great execution. I still expect a brutal sweep, though.  Talent matters in the NBA.  There is a massive talent gap here.

If you were rooting for them you wouldn't be declaring that we will be swept or will be blown out in game 1, etc. Great way of rooting for your team.

I can just imagine you as the celtics coach "Okay guys we are going to get blown out and swept but play hard guys!".

all anyone can ask for is the cavs to make tough shots. they're doing that right now. nothing more we can ask for.

with that said, I think if we can get a qrtr. where we hold them to 20 and not have a qrtr where we give up 40-50, we could win this game.

Love how vocal Smart is already. And I really can't believe they decided to mic him up either. He's playing really well. Dude will be a really tough player in a couple of years.

rest of the team really needs to step it up.  Bass was awful on D and IT was a defensive sieve.  Turner has been horrid
