which 3 pf/c would you keep for next season?

But if you had to choose 2 more guys to keep who would they be??

My choices are KO and Jerebko.

Bass likely will be too expensive to keep/age factor and I feel Sullinger has upset Danny enough (weight issues, injuries) that he will be traded , as early as on draft night.

We can then use multiple picks and sully to move into the top 10.  Some ppl here would like to then grab WCS. Im not the biggest WCS fan but he would provide that above the rim guy we can desperately use, and in certain situations wcs, crowder, smart, ab could really lock things down when we need stops

I have no idea about returning guys. I am being cautious. Just because team is in playoffs doesnt mean there will be a lot of roster return. This could be another 2003 for all we know. DA could sell high on 80% of the roster.

If I had to guess I would say the C's will keep Crowder as a stretch 4 and one of Bass/Jerebko. If they manage to trade Sully/Olynyk for quality they could keep all 3.

My thoughts are we let Jerebko and Bass go, trade Olynyk and get some established talent rather than relying on unproven talent that hasn't played a second of NBA game action.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bass came back.  I think Stevens and Ainge highly value his ability to switch on pick and rolls and still do a respectable job defending on the perimeter against smaller, quicker players.  Plus, he's just a great locker room guy who is reliable, (has he missed any games to injury over the past few years?) and low-maintenance.  He keeps his mouth shut and does his job.  I'd wager good money that all of his teammates and all management personnel have a great amount of respect for Bass.

But if I had to pick, I'd keep KO, Jerebko, and Zeller.  KO will continue to improve.  Zeller is a solid back up center that we should hold on to.  I like Jerebko's energy, rebounding, and ability to shoot the 3.  Probably comes cheaper than Bass.  I like Bass a lot but it may be time to move on.

I'm a bit concerned about Sully's weight issues and work ethic, especially if he re-signs to a long term deal.  Otherwise I'd take him over any of the other bigs.

Bass, Olynyk, Zeller. 

Both are guys who are equally happy (and productive) as starters or as bench guys, so no matter who we sign or acquire next year they can all find themselves a role.

There is always a need to a 7 footer who can shoot like Olynyk, a 7 footer who can move and play the P&R like Zeller, and a big who is as hard working and as versatile as Bass.

Sullinger is probably the closest thing this team has got to really becoming an All Star.
There's a huge 'if' with his weight/conditioning concerns, but he has the tools, talent and fundamentals to become a bench All Star ala David West in New Orleans and put up 18 points/10 rebounds a night. The next and equally important factor for Sullinger's game will be putting a decent center next to him every night on the defensive end like West had with Chandler in New Orleans and Hibbert in Indiana.

They are big 'if' scenarios, but he'll be in a contract year but I think Danny puts a rim protecting big man next to him before he ships him off for pennies on the dollar.
I'd say Ainge would rather gamble on Sullinger putting his act together and have his play improve next to a real defensive big man, than trade him for a mid first round pick.

I certainly wouldn't trade Sullinger for any picks outside the top 8 and I'd want a bit more too.

quite the opposite.  I think if Danny takes any of those guys at #16 then he's shipping out either Sully or KO to fill another spot. 

At 16, if Poeltl's there, he'll be the pick (barring any surprise drops through the draft) and will split center duties with Zeller.  Keeps KO playing at PF primarily with Sully
