Imagine that.

For the avoidance of doubt: I am thrilled that the C's are in playoff contention. I believe tanking/setting-your-franchise-up-to-lose-now-to-win-later (however you prefer to call it) is messing with the basketball gods. I also believe OKC and Russel Westbrook want to be in the playoffs.

But still, imagine them winning the lottery. That's a potential line-up of Westbrook - KD - Ibaka - N° 1 pick - Adams/Lamb/Waiters (depending on their pick).

And then they trade it to Cleveland for LeBron, right?

Why the snarky response? You do not agree that it would be one of these storylines that only occurs in leagues "where amazing happens"? :)

Sometimes I get the feeling the people who use "snarky" on this forum don't actually know what it means.

However, it would be less amazing than landing Tim Duncan, but the OKC team would be better than San Antonio was when The Admiral, Sam Jones, and company went down for the year.

Thirdly, nothing good should happen to OKC because they're owned by a bunch of scumbags.

I think Cleveland is gonna get the No. 1 pick, even if they don't have any draft picks.  ;D

Snarky -sharply critical; cutting; snide.
"the kid who makes snarky remarks in class"
cranky; irritable.
"Bobby's always a bit snarky before his nap"

I too think people do not know what snarky is sometimes.

How crazy would be if OKC got Okafor?

So your comment was not sarcastic? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/snarky

I take it back then, no worries. Not a native speaker here.

Not sarcastic -- just silly. It seems like the only thing people do with first overall picks these days is trade for LeBron James.

It'll be interesting to see what they do in the draft.

It seems like a lot of guys pegged to go late in the lottery are centers = Kaminsky, Poeltl and M.Turner .... Oklahoma already have Kanter (top five pick) and Steven Adams (late lotto) at the center position. It doesn't look a great fit for them.

I wonder if OKC just takes a perimeter guy (Oubre?) or if they'll try to trade their way up the draft. A Steven Adams + #14 pick trade package would be pretty attractive for some teams in the 6-10 mid lottery range. Maybe make a run at Hezonja or Porzignis. Or WCS. WCS + Ibaka would be a dominant defensive duo.

OKC could use a wing-playmaker type player. Someone to run their second unit. I don't know anything about this draft outside the top 3 so I could not provide a suggested pick.

OKC has been insanely lucky w/ the draft lottery, so I wouldn't doubt anything. It'd be horribly unfair for them to get a high lottery pick...but...that's often how this thing goes.
