I would hate to see this kid used for trade bait.
He's not under contract for next season. And he's definitely not a kid, at least not in basketball terms.

i have a felling he is being underused right now, i love his game:
-great size
-can drive the ball
-great 3pt shooter
-gets offensive rebounds
-not too bad on defense

what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Jerebko?

Just say his name at least once
lol, it's easier to type a paragraph in English than a word in Swedish. Tråkigt men sant.

I don't speak or write Swedish, but whenever I try to type in Danish, I just use aa, ae, and oe to represent the vowels that don't exist in the English alphabet.

Det er ikke saa svaert.

He's your #8 guy on a good team.  I would like to see him stay, but I do not want to overpay one cent for him.

Question: Given the choice of one or the other, do we want good NBA players or players who fit well into CBS's system?

(Obviously, in a perfect world, we want both).

We want great players and good players and a great coach.  Not sure we have great players or a great coach yet, but I'm closer to seeing greatness in Stevens than our players.

As for JJ, he's 28 and been playing pro ball in Europe since 2005. I like him, but he is likely what he is.
Agreed - Jonas is what he is. A hard-working, hustling 3-4 tweener who who runs the floor well and shoots well enough from outside to keep the defense honest (although with a slow release). Ideally you use him 15-20 minutes off the bench.

My first post. I have to say a like this board. In general a respectful, humble atmosphere.

easy question. good players.

a coach is supposed to work around the talent he has. it doesn't work the other way around.

It does matter some how players fit together, even without consideration of Stevens's system.

I'm not thinking he'll be too expensive. A good 20 or 30 games off a mediocre team's bench is not likely to push him into the category of the overpaid.

That's not what he is.

On a related note, I wonder for how long Brad S will manage to get away with running a 5 1/2 big man rotation. It drives me nuts.
