If we make the playoffs, none of these guys will be an issue for us. Relax.

Look at Oubre, Dunn, Grant for right now..
I'm hoping for Portis, Oubre or Dunn at 15. This draft is so 1998 all over again. Stanley Johnson could have a Paul Pierce draft day. Cs have to be ready to trade up JIC.
Stanley Johnson never looks like he's rushing with the ball which is very impressive for a freshman college player. His poise with the ball reminds me of Wade.

I wasn't very impressed with Portis. He has a lot of extra motion on his jump shot and struggled against taller players.

I haven't seen Oubre played so I'll have to take your advice that he won't be a bad pick at 15.

I think Townes and Winslow are the 2 most likely college players in this draft who may become all-stars. Winslow has it all. He plays with great control and explosion.

Chances are high that there'll be at least six all stars in this draft.

Let's hope Danny gets one of them.
I keep thinking the same that this draft is deep. Which really makes getting the 15th pick a bummer.

In all likelihood, there will still be a future all star around at 15.  We just have to pick the right guy and develop him right.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I don't understand the Cauley-Stein hype at all.  He's one of those guys I hope is already gone by the time the Celtics pick.  Just like Aaron Gordon was to me last year.

TP for calling that one.  I was really hoping we drafted him.  Which is why I'm not the Celtics GM.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Ainge may have rings and professional basketball experience, but I've got the internet, a keyboard and nothing better to do.

Mike
WCS might be the best athlete in the draft and is 7 feet. That's pretty rare.

Which players do you see at 15 as possible all stars?

WCS is top 7. Seven footers with elite athleticism and defensive timing never last long..

Oubre is about the only one I could remotely see sniffing an all-star game. But that's a huge longshot..

Portis isn't perfect but he defends, scores and isn't an undersized PF(6'10 240lbs). He also snagged SEC player of the year as a Sophomore. Likely best big on the board at 15 and he has more upside than 2/3 of the bigs in this draft.

I have no idea.  I'm simply basing my prediction on the fact that about 90% of previous drafts have produced at least one all star picked 15th or later.

I wish they did buy into tourney hype but that is usually what owners do. GMs are going by scouting(all year), combine, and workouts. You have to have a few over involved owners along with operations (brand and ticket sales) chiefs making the final calls. Look at the top 10 teams and you may get lucky with 3 teams botching their picks.
