Wade injured himself during last night game.
Well, I got excited at first because I thought a player injured him, but not even.
Why I don't feel any compassion what so ever for this guy.
Reminds me what Tommy said (shout) about Wade the other day : "He's a THUG"
That makes me laugh...

Not usually a fan of player injuries but he deserves it. Hope his knees blow out soon.

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Is anyone actually surprised by this? Miami has been extremely stupid with how they have managed their players over the last month since Dragic went down.

At best they were going to get a first round matchup with Atlanta or Cleveland with no Bosh. For a team like us with almost no playoff experience, this can be a good thing. For a team that has had the majority of their team in the last 4 finals, a sweep and more wear and tear on wade it is not (adding insult to injury) making the playoffs cost them a top 10 pick.

Although there is reportedly no "structural damage to the knee" do they really want to lose him for all of next year when they would presumably have bosh, whiteside, dragic and him and for next year (plus mcroberts, a top ten pick and potential free agents)?

No fan of Wade, but I'm not thrilled about this. Everything seems to be going our way in terms of backing into the playoffs.

My ideal scenario was for us to fight fiercely and just miss the playoffs, giving all the kids the hunt for the playoffs taste/experience and then just falling short and getting the 10th-11th pick rather than the 15th or 16th.

Too many things going our way...where was all this "luck" from '10-'13???
::) why even follow this team if u want them to be bad and lose

He hurt himself? was accidental or a dirty move on himself?
He probably looked at the mirror and gave himself the "stay down punk" stare.

....and then dropped the ball on himself, just for good measure!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEypFQD-XUs

He's a piece of garbage.
I didn't see that in the Celtics broadcast what a scumbag he really tossed the ball at him afterward

With Wade hurt again, this now truly feels like a season on the brink for a team that has advanced to the NBA Finals for four consecutive seasons but now might miss out of the playoffs completely.

The Heat has lost five of its last seven games and now travels to Detroit with Wade hurting, Hassan Whiteside injured, Luol Deng gimpy, Udonis Haslem sick, Chris Andersen less than healthy, Michael Beasley in pain and Chris Bosh, Josh McRoberts and Shabazz Napier either watching from the bench in suits or back in Miami recovering from surgery. The loss to the Cavaliers dropped the Heat (34-41) into a tie with the Boston Celtics for eighth in the Eastern Conference standings. The Charlotte Hornets are one back in the loss column.

Who's entirely healthy at this time of the year? Wade is questionable for Detroit so even if he's out it's reasonable to think he'll be back soon. Deng, Whiteside, Haslem, and Bird are all playing. Napier was stuck on the bench and getting DNPCD's. McRoberts didn't contribute all year. Bosh has been out for a while now and record wise they didn't suffer.

The fact I think they'll make it has less to do with them, but more of an indictment of the teams they're battling it out for. That said, their top 4 guys (Dragic, Wade, Whiteside, Deng) are pretty good.

By comparison the Celtics are pretty healthy and just got a really unexpected boost in Sullinger being available for a few minutes. If you don't think the Heat are unusual banged up when they have multiple starters battling knees injuries and their own beat writer is commenting on it, I don't really know what to tell you. Every team battling the Heat is significantly healthier than they are.

You could say they're healthy, but if you want to be pessimistic, like the Heat writer (who I've never heard of before) then you could say Sullinger is dealing with a stress fracture and weight issues, Thomas has a bone bruise to his tailbone, and Olynyk has a laceration to his eye. I mean you're mentioning Whiteside, who is playing with a laceration to his hand, so it's all relative.

I am getting confused are you a heat fan or a Celtics fan? I am not trolling you, but am confused by your comment about the Heat writer. Do you follow the Heat and know their writers? I don't know, but this is on front of their sports section of Miami Herald (not exactly bleacher report). I also don't get how you can compare swelling in knees to a black eye. I get that Whiteside's injury is least serious but he has also talked about how much it bothers him.
