No fan of Wade, but I'm not thrilled about this. Everything seems to be going our way in terms of backing into the playoffs.

My ideal scenario was for us to fight fiercely and just miss the playoffs, giving all the kids the hunt for the playoffs taste/experience and then just falling short and getting the 10th-11th pick rather than the 15th or 16th.

Too many things going our way...where was all this "luck" from '10-'13???

Who's entirely healthy at this time of the year? Wade is questionable for Detroit so even if he's out it's reasonable to think he'll be back soon. Deng, Whiteside, Haslem, and Bird are all playing. Napier was stuck on the bench and getting DNPCD's. McRoberts didn't contribute all year. Bosh has been out for a while now and record wise they didn't suffer.

The fact I think they'll make it has less to do with them, but more of an indictment of the teams they're battling it out for. That said, their top 4 guys (Dragic, Wade, Whiteside, Deng) are pretty good.

I am getting confused are you a heat fan or a Celtics fan? I am not trolling you, but am confused by your comment about the Heat writer. Do you follow the Heat and know their writers? I don't know, but this is on front of their sports section of Miami Herald (not exactly bleacher report). I also don't get how you can compare swelling in knees to a black eye. I get that Whiteside's injury is least serious but he has also talked about how much it bothers him.
