Let's offer our max contracts to Gasol, Aldridge, Jordan, Leonard, or Butler first. If we strike out there then maybe we can move onto guys like Love, Monroe and Lopez.

Now while I have no interest in Brook I think Robin is exactly the type of big we need to look at in free agency.

people are not adjusting to the new nba economic reality, lopez will opt out and land a mega offer this offseason greater than 60 mill, perhaps even a max offer of about 80 mill

i think it won't be us think danny gonna try to find future trade assets in fa, younger, cheaper types

So.. can we offer him a 1 year deal? The only way this could make sense if if we could slightly overpay for one year. I wouldn't want the risk that he gets hurt, is out a year and then is much worse for us at big money for years to come.

I asked the same question in a rondo thread with no clear answer, can we offer 1 year max contracts? With LBJ getting 2 I don't see why not .

I would love Robin Lopez on the Celts, he is exactly what we need.  I like Brooke more than most it appears though, I would like him on the Celts if I believed he would play as he has played the second half of the season.  Brooke's injured feet are a concern though so I would prefer Robin.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12
