Kelly's fear of getting his shot blocked is the biggest detriment to him and this team. plenty of times the shot is there for him to take, the team works to get the looks he gets; only to see him turn the shot down. this disrupts or flat-out kills the flow of the offense.

many blamed KG for passing too much over the course of his career, but KG was gifted with athletic ability to make up for any flaw he might have. Kelly is severely lacking in the athletic department and doesn't have the benefit of falling back on such gifts. Kelly - take the shots you're given!

i'm not blaming any one player on this game. this has been an ongoing issue with Nolynyk his entire career thus far.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I am not going to disagree with you - I believe that Olynyk needs to shoot more often, but his +13 (while a product of some luck) also shows that he was effective in other ways tonight. His shooting just hasn't been the same since his injury.

Yea , Kelly does have issues on his offensive decisions , mainly on his own shot taking...

With that said , he wasnt the blame , all these guys have their issues.

KO definently has to be addressed on them because they are simple adjustements.

Still playing like he six foot tall......

He has skill and nice shooting touch and decent passer .

But nothing upstairs to drive the machinery .  No desire on the court to force your game on the opponent

You got to be confident , self assured .....

In the NBA .....crave your nitch......take what's there and play your tail off .
Needs KG brain transplant

Pressey and Olynyk play best together.

Pressey and Olynyk play best together.

And they should...in Europe.

Olynyk  was a +13 tonight, and all people here do is complain.

He made two sensational blocks, had 9 rebounds and 5 assists, and Brad only played him 29 minutes.

When a guy is 1-9 those complaints are justified no matter what his PER was, get real.  He  rebounded well but his shot was off tonight, for you to pretend it was not is downright silly.

Most all our bigs shot poorly because of Drummond.  You could see guys looking for where he was when they shot instead of shooting their normal shot.

He's definitely lacking confidence scoring the basketball right now.  At least, he's playing really good defense.

I trust he'll get in a groove offensively some time soon.

Thank you. I said this when he was drafted. I'd keep Pressey over him, honestly. He is not a solidified NBA player, period.

 ???

Several times I watched him lose his man and give them a wide-open shot. Actually, I believe the Prince dagger that either tied it up or made it close at the end of regulation was due to an Olynyk mistake losing his man.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

This is pretty much what Ive been seeing all year myself. He has a methodical shot and his low release point is hurting him.

He badly needs to work on going straight into his shot and getting a faster release point. I do see him attempt this sometimes but it always seems rushed and never in rhythm.
