Wofford and Eastern Washington games should be a reminder to coaches, even the mid major ones, that you gotta atrlsst recruit 1 or 2 player/s that is/are at least 6'10" all taller.

Both teams matched up well against their opponents from the beginning, especially Wofford. But the size factor kicked in and became difficult to overcome.

Recruit a big kid, coaches...

Yogi Ferrell sure likes to shoot the ball. Wichita needs to not make so many live ball turnovers.

I like Baker from Wichita as a second round pick, I'm also a fan of Brandon Dawson who showed up at the end of the Michigan State game.

Buffalo is giving West Virginia all it can take. The 12-5 upset is still alive.

I don't believe in any number of gods, but if I did I think brackets would be a prime example of the fickleness of fate.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Hoping Indiana pulls this one out.  A win probably saves Crean's job.  A loss means that some boosters will pool a ton of money to throw at Brad Stevens.

Looks like Kansas can't avoid Wichita State this year. And the stakes just got bigger than just a non-conference game.

Excited for Sunday.

Will the Celtics, heck, the NBA allow Brad Stevens to leave? He seems to be a hot commodity in basketball, period.

He is rumored to have no buy-out to leave for Indiana or Duke.  In addition to the money, which he will be offered, who knows how much he misses his home state.  I have a feeling we might find out in the next month.

This is the first I've heard of that rumor.

It's possible, but with the team battling for the playoffs now and only getting better next year I don't see him leaving. He doesn't strike me as someone who will up and leave because things are difficult in the NBA. What's more he's proving he can coach in the NBA, if he can cut it at the top level of basketball I'm not sure why he would go back down to college.

Maybe we can get a First round pick from The Hoosiers or Blue Devils.

Its been reported off and on this year, both on this board and the IU boards.  Truth, I have no clue, but enough persistence.

It's not so much leaving because things are difficult, in my opinion.  If that clause is true, it pretty much means that Stevens wanted the opportunity to consider the IU job if it presented itself, presumably because it was a dream job to someone who grew up in Indiana.  If he doesn't take it when offered, that job might not be open again for another decade or more, which means it's something akin to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  He'd really have to love the NBA to turn it down. If he did turn it down, I wouldn't worry ever again about him leaving.

"I’ve committed to being here," Stevens told me before Thursday’s practice at the team’s facility. "I’ve already left a situation once and that was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to choose to do. This is something that as long as they want me to be here, this is what I want to be doing and I’m going to give it everything I’ve got. I know it’s all specific to the rumor mills and the discussion of one spot. I think they’ve got a good coach who’s done a helluva job. He doesn’t deserve that speculation.

"I’m the head coach of the Boston Celtics," Stevens continued. "This is the job. This is where I am. This is what I want to do really well and I’m committed to being as good as I can every single day for the Celtics."

This was December 2014. He could have a change of mind by then, but I'm confident he stays.

I'm hopeful, but confident would be too strong of a word.

I love that the entire stadium erupts everytime Mamadou Ndiaye makes a basket. He seems to be attracting a crowd with his imposing size.

He showed some decent footwork in a play as well. It's crazy, 6'10" Mathiang looks like a kid trying to guard him. He's so huge, it's nuts.
