What I don't get is why Stevens doesn't have him in the D-League developing right now. He's not doing anybody any good riding our bench, so just make him travel a lot between Boston and Maine. He hasn't hardly been used in three weeks or so since we've really took off, so send him to Maine for him to get game reps and confidence!
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Datome is the euro this team needs.  Why do I get the feeling this team will be utilizing more euros in the future given CBS style of play.  He gets winning ball out of lesser talents if they are willing to run, hustle and gun

Thank God. It's better than him wasting away on the bench.

thats the best news james could get playoffs with maine red claws then back to celts when we make it,I have pleading this scenario for months ,i used to watch the red claws  keeping track of dwight powell and young but as already posted he has got to do much more than catch and shoot-weight room and d as well as geting creative to the hoop-aaron gordon could play d and had crazy athletics-young has beautiful form but just isn't close anywhere else -he should have stayed in school another year-

found replay of datome defensive lapse ,gets caught coming forward and awkwardly tries to recover very poor position and footwork, this is not the first time he has been beat like this, ,when i read his scouting report when he was young it said he had lateral speed, from what ive seen he uses his quick reach to block guys that beat him,he is much like prince players underestimate his reach, like his european passing skill ,he can whip it in odd ways-great pass at end of game-north end has a hero no pun intended of course.       lets have a contest for a datome pizza
Datome had a rough night in man-to-man. But he's never off in his off-ball rotations. That's the key.

if datome was guarding glenn robinson the kid is ambidextrus and beat him badly going left and is explosive getting to hoop-i thought datome was overplaying  him  and this kid was a lefty ,really surprised him--

Did u guys see Wallace after a time out and after Brad talked to them - he took the 5 aside and gave them a good talking to....Wallace may not be earning his money but he sure as hell looks like a great teammate.

Young is going where he belongs and what he's earned: the D-League.

Not only does he look lost out there, it looks like he doesn't give a crap.

I was at the game last night down the end (the opposite end from their bench)  where the Cs where warming up prior to the 2nd half.

His body language and attitude may be an issue.

Prior to the 2nd half, he was taking threes from the right corner, and I think he made one of about 8 and just seemed to be going through the motions, shoulders slumped, just heaving them up. Then some short, bald guy in a suit (don't know who he was) seemed to be instructing him on the court, and it didn't seem like he gave a crap, as he missed about 4 more as he moved slightly around the 3 pt arc.

Just my impressions, and I no doubt could be wrong.
