Depends how the offseason goes really. Should we strike out again, you could make the argument we should have tanked for talent. If the improvement means a strong FA signs with us as the "up and coming" team, it was a good thing.

I agee about the playoff experience point and that talent trumps all -- and have made similar comments in the past. However, it's not a bad point that playoff experience for Brad Stevens could be useful. At some point he'll coach his 1st NBA playoff series -- it may be useful to get that out of the way early.
Playoff experience might be overrated IF you have great Vets with plenty of experience that CAN communicate with the other team mates and make them ready for playoff. But when I see Lebron saying to his team mates "follow my lead" in the last nba finals, that's just a joke.

And about the fact that we make a playoff push because we are in the east, well, check our production against western team recently. I don't see any difference (oh yes I forgot, serious opponents look down on us and gave us the win, right)
