I have been praising Phil Pressey since they day he joined this team. He's the perfect example of a guy who leaves everything on the court and makes the absolute most of every ounce of talent he has.
People give him a lot of hate, and I really don't know why. Pressey is actually a very skilled player - he's pretty much a bite sized Rajon Rondo in that he does everything pretty well except score. he's an excellent passer, great playmaker, fantastic court vision, great ball handler and is an absolute hound on defence thanks to his great motor and blinding speed/quickness. He's even a half decent rebounder for a PG.
Pressey doesn't do much on to add to a box score, but I swear EVERY TIME that kid steps on the floor, good things happen.
If Pressey could shoot and finish around the basket with any kind of consistency (or if he was 3" taller) he'd be a very, very good player.
Plus he's got such a great attitude - always positive, modest and hard working and he's always got a "team first" mentality.
Love this kid, and I'd be genuinely sad if he ever got traded or waived. Not often you say that about end of bench guys.
