Someone on this forum predicted that the Celtics would beat the Hawks in the first round as their prediction.  My belief is that the Celtics will play in the Eastern Conference Finals this season.  They will beat the Hawks then the Bulls and will lose to the Cavs in 6.

Brad Stevens ability to adapt his style of play to get the most out of his players is remarkable.  His second half adjustments are better than any other coach in the NBA.  Stevens is the Bill Belichick of the NBA and I was completely wrong about him and this team at the start of the season when I was calling for them to tank.  I am glad I have watched every game and really enjoy this team.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

Did you have Butler in either of those NCAA championships?

If this team get 30 wins is dang near a miracle in my book . ........I'm flabbergasted

At the beginning I was thinking 21 wins .maybe 24 ....then subtract Rondo and Green .....my confidence dropped through the floor.  I was seeing 3-4 pick in lottery .

Green and Rondo suck.

I predicted 35 wins, and it looks like we will make it.

Give us a better scoring low post player, that can shoot the 3, and can rebound better.

this is the most crazy thing ever
there is no way we are ready to beat the hawks in a 7 game series

there is no chance we beat the bulls in a 7 game series
butler, gasol and noah would manhandle us

no way we win 2 games against the cavs - lebron and irving so enough said

we dont have any advantages over any other team
they have more experience, talent and well coached

Stevens is a very good coach
he has shown that at butler and with us
i feel like he has allowed us to overachieve from my prediction at the start of the season that we would win 27 games and be at the bottom 5 of the east

right now we are an mediocre team - not terrible but not great

We're gonna win #18 this year guys.

We, the eventual #8-seeded Boston Celtics, will be the first team in NBA history (?) to beat the #1-seeded Golden State Warriors...in 6 games with confetti falling all over in the TD Garden.

True, but he'd probably put up nearly double the points and several more rebounds per game than Sully, all while not being a fat arse while doing it.  ;)

Doesn't excuse him from not playing D, but it still would help us.

I'll take irrational optimism over irrational pessimism any day.  TP to OP!

...I hope we make the playoffs, I hope we compete, but even one series win is not very likely.
