  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Woohoo.

We barely beat a 21 win team who's starting PG missed 11 of 15 free throws.

Evan 'the roller coaster' Turner's value might peak at two second round picks. woo hoo.

At least Smart is driving to the basket a bit more.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Play like crao fir 3.5 quarters, put 6 minutes of good basketball together and beat a crap team on a bad night....Sign of a good team.

I hope this isn't sarcasm b/c it seems to run true for the better teams. Hang around on an off night and strike in the crunch.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Lol, I dumped on ET in the first half. I guess he went in the locker room at half and went on CB and read my comments.  Whatever works.  ;D  I'll be sure to dump on you next game to Evan!

We all turded on him ......

He heard chief bad mouthing him though the TV screen ...or somebody informed him...he was under attack on the Celtic blog ...LOL  ;D
This may sound like Monday morning Qbacking, but I never understood the Turner hate. He is definitely a "confidence" guy. When his shot is falling, he gets encouraged and starts to look like a #2 overall pick. I would keep him as a spark off the bench.

Yeah .....I kind like him as a personality on the team......he seems like a clown ....big goof.......and fun dude .     His smile makes me laugh ....I was mad at the WHOLE team ...not ET so much......playing down to the Magic junk.

ET used to give Pierce fits and Celtics too at times .

Not at all.  As you say it runs true of the better teams.  CBS even said after the game it was one of their best wins because they didn't have it, yet still figured it out.

Ha! I took it sarcastically too, but I mostly just wanted to post that Stevens GIF.

would you have preferred a loss to a 21 win team?

I wonder how many wins the Griz had.

Some people will never be satisfied, even when the only result that matters, a win, happens.

Ignore the liberty ballers. Let's just enjoy a nice win.
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

Big improvement compared to earlier in the season when they played better than the opposition and still found a way to lose. Now they, and CBS, seem to be finding the hot guy in the 4th quarter to close the game (and it comes to IT4 easily enough by his nature). A big step forward as is the way they're protecting home court now.

You act like the C's are a 50 win team.  It was a good win for the Cs against a team that beat them recently.  Why pee on the parade Debbie Downer???
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

I remember RAY ALLEN once saying

"what is the point of winning by 25 every game....its abnormal to do that, it usually means your having an unusually great game, and the other team is having an unusually bad game...the games that are close and tough no matter what the record of the teams is what it is all about. Then you see the team who steps it up, the coach who steps it up, and the gamers...that is where your career is made, and where your team comes together."
