WARNING: SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION

Felt it was (somewhat) necessary to pass this along, though.  Caught up with old friend Chris Wallace about how Jeff Green is fitting in down there.  I took a look at all the recent trades Ainge has made, and you can argue that only Green, despite the numbers, is having any sort of positive impact on his team in the four major trades Ainge has made over the last year-and-a-half.

Wallace also had some kind words to say regarding the Celtics rebuild (who doesn't?) and had some interesting comments regarding decision-making in Memphis

Not really sure that players pillage teams rosters. A part should be two words:

Will he be apart of the future?

Interesting thoughts, but what's Wallace supposed to say, "Jeff sucks and I totally regret the trade and Danny fleeced me and screw you guys it's awful"?

I'm happy with what Ainge got for Green. He didn't have a place on this team long term so dealing him for a future piece makes sense. If Gigi and Jerebko become keepers then the deal looks really good for the C's.

I'm a big fan of your podcast.

That future Memphis pick (2019 right?) could be golden as their front court if still intact will be past their prime by then.

If it matters to  you, the conversation I had with Chris regarding Green sprung from his general thoughts on the state of his team.  It wasn't like I asked him some point blank question of "thoughts on the trade."  It was initiated on our discussion of his team and their chances in the post-season.  He's always been a Green fan.

No doubt. I haven't had a chance to listen to the podcast yet, so I'm just going by the accompanying text.
