This is not intended to be a discussion about whether or not we would like to see the Cs make the playoffs. I am just curious to know what others think about the likelihood. Pacers, currently on a tear and with George's return on the horizon, are a lock imo. But with Miami losing Bosh, and Charlotte sitting around at 8, I think it's definitely possible.

We have CLE twice, Indy twice, Toronto twice, LAC, Memphis, and OKC in our remaining games. What do you think?

do not think so.. would surprise me.. and we are starting to lose players with injuries... smart has played too much for a rookie... i think we will fight for the next 10 games but the last 10 are too difficult

Hollinger's odds at ESPN are 8-1 against us.  Think that's a bit high, but we're a long shot with the toughest schedule and CHA and IND playing well.

Wow, 8 to 1 is surprisingly high to me. I do doubt we will make it, too, though. Not an easy road. I don't know what schedules look like for Mia, Cha, etc. though.

Not with the run in we have. Can't see the teams we need to lose games losing as many as we need them to. If the team surprise us/me and win a few of the games you wouldn't expect, then I will be very happy and we are a chance - I can't see it happening and I am quite an optimist.

So in general, our schedule is less favorable than the others' that are in the hunt? Seems it would be. That's like 10/20 expected losses. And then we lose to teams like the Magic recently...

i dont think we make it
heres how i see it

cleveland = lose twice
Indy = split games
Toronto = lose twice
LAC = 50-50 (Doc may rest paul and jordan before playoffs)
Memphis = lose
OKC = lose

Same. Looks like we get LAC at home. And could maybe steal one from CLE - back to back games with one at home (but doubtful). Looked over a game against Spurs, too. And OKC and Indy too motivated to lose.

Funny thing is that it seems like every game is a playoff game.

Yep. Unfortunately, seems like every dang game is against a playoff team.

Toronto = lose twice? Have you seen their games? Call me drunk on the Kool Aid but I think the C's are as good as they are, now. They can't finish games. Analytics don't come out in player vs. player on paper, but I'm a Bradliever.

  • GOT IT!!!
I don't they will. Just not enough consistency. Losing to worse teams and beating better teams. I thought they would win at about 35 games before the season and I'm not sure they are even going to get there looking at the rest of the schedule.

If we would have won against GS and the Magic maybe don't think so now

Don´t think we make the Playoffs but I like the fact, we are battling for a Playoff spot. C´s are playing hard every game, thats how you develop :)

I agree, I think the C's just miss the playoffs this year.  Probably end up with the 10th pick or so and  they will definitely make it next year...
