probably go with Davis because of his age and he's a better defender

I do think there's merit to what's being said about replicable skillsets, though. Durant is one of the two or three best scorers in the league, no doubt about it, but elite scoring is more common than elite defense at the 4/5. Assuming the Brow stays healthy he could have a KG-type impact on a team's D.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Davis.  He is a franchise cornerstone player at a position of need for us.  Then I'd sign Durant in free agency, using AD as a selling point!  LOL

If we're gonna start dreaming about things that will never happen, can I at least choose to end World Hunger instead?

Davis. Absolute stud, keeps getting better. And he's highly coveted as a super athletic, dominant big. Hard to come by.

But yea, neither coming here. Durant may end up in Washington. I'd kinda like to see that. May be a bit less likely than I'm suggesting that he leaves OKC, but you never know. And Westbrook appears to like running his own show, too :)

If we're talking winning immediately, then Durant. He won about 40 or so games in the West with guys like Jackson, Sefolosha, Ibaka, and Perkins as his starters. Ibaka is really good, but the other guys are easily replaceable players. I don't think Davis is able to lead a team to that extent.

To some extent it depends on the personnel, but all other things being equal, I'd take Davis.

I salivate at the possibility of Davis.  He does everything.
