Tough one, but I'd have to go with Davis because of age. Smart and him would create a hell of a tandem.

Davis definitely. He can change games in more ways than Durant can.

Davis, hes a special player and is still devolving. the real key thought is his defense, in particular his ability to block or change shots. rim protection is simply more difficult to find then scoring, even scoring as good as Durant.

Tommy Point for the good question (your first one!)

I'm taking Davis mostly because he can effect the game so much on both ends of the court.

Assuming they both stay healthy which has been a problem for both of them I vote for the younger guy having more impact.   But I would love either one but I would bet we get neither.

The only thing that would make me think about choosing KD at this point, he is in the age range/experience to where he is ready to win. People just don't win it at AD's age, I'm sure there are a few but not many I can remember doing it recently.

Other than that, I don't think this is a hard question at all, the clear answer should be AD. There are many reason why you take him and most have been mentioned here already.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Let me break the trend: Durant.

Experienced, can rebound, can play D, capable of getting trip doubles, can push team deep in playoffs, he's the go-to guy, can shoot the 3 ball, clutch, and a scoring machine.

Aaaand ya can lure other players around the MVP!

AD is great and all, but I just view highly of Durant atm imo.  ;D

Assuming they both stay healthy, I'd rather have Durant.  I think he puts Boston in a better position to win in the next 4 years, which all you are getting from either in a free agent contract.

Besides when Boston wins the lottery and lands Okafor, Davis would be a bit redundant.
