We'll get revenge on Friday.  Not gonna lose to the Magic twice in one week.

Good jinx......their center will be back most likely

I'm glad I figured out that games are much more enjoyable when I don't read the threads during it. Bunch of internet warriors make it tough to enjoy game threads.

Nextttttttttttttttt!!!!
If you could enjoy this game, you're way better than I am.

Um no, trying to elbow a guy in the head is not "using your physicality". That's just laughable. If you want to force fouls, learn how to do it right.

See. I don't think he "tr[ied] to elbow a guy in the head"

My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Ya see, Marcus doesn't know it's a game, he thinks it's a war.

Exactly the way he should think.

I think he is embarrassed that they lost. He might have played physical on that drive, but he didn't hit a guy with his elbow on purpose.

That call was a travesty.
The call was bad. The play was worse. Just don't do it.

I think you and I will just have to disagree on this one.
Smart did exactly what he should do. He aggressively attacked the rim and used his physicality to power his drive. He did not elbow the guy intentionally. He made a heads-up, aggressive drive.

He needs to learn better body control.

Not sure that anyone but the refs out there thought he was trying to elbow Elfrid in the head. C'mon, you can't be that negative.

Please I've seen much worse in this league not even close to being called flagrant let alone flag2.  It was a wussy call to make by incompetent refs.

I honestly can't tell you if he was deliberately throwing an elbow or just awkwardly trying to initiate contact.

They let Karl Malone do it.

Ko needs some time getting back.  I've seen about enough of turner.  Crowder and young getting close too. :(

With more time on the clock, it's not a flagrant 2.

Trying to keep control of the game by sacrificing a rookie.

Okay, was that really worth a flagrant 2?

If that was worth a flagrant 2 why are players allowed to intentionally slam a ball against another player when they are falling out of bounds? Why isn't that a technical foul for unsportsmanlike play?

Why do Turner and It get equal mins? At least Thomas can actually be effective with the offense running through him.

See, I don't see how people think that he was intentionally throwing an elbow there. Sure, he might've been trying to make contact, but that doesn't mean he was intentionally throwing it in a malicious way that would warrant a flagrant foul. An offensive foul on that call is one thing, but a flagrant is just ridiculous on that play.

I guess we needed AB tonight........though .....I agree with the person who said this was a trap game.

I though we might play down ,and they were full bore mode at home with new coach and nothing to loose.

Looks like the scouting report on Turner is pretty solid.

Seems like he could have a nice Marquis Daniels-like career as a utility wing, but wants to be Kobe or something. He tries to do more than he can.

I will say, for once I agree with you (probably have b4. rare lol)... Smart CLEARLY extended that elbow. No one holds their elbow out straight like that without trying to. Not a basketball move whatsoever.

Now, about enjoying the game, I clearly didn't enjoy the results and I didn't like a lot of our play but it would have been worse if I saw what the people who were chatting said during the game. They are sour and hateful for no reason.

I also don't like the prejudice against women, they can degrade women without impunity, it's sad. The same women athletes they use as a bad thing are the same women who would run through every last one of them! They would show you what soft really is!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
