I believe that at his best, Williams was much better than Rondo at his best.  At this point, I don't feel like I know what the problem is with Williams but I still think that right now, if there was a draft of sorts of all NBA players, Williams would be drafted before Rondo but neither one of them all that high.  Heck, Isaiah Thomas might go before either of them.

I take Rondo any day over D-Will. They both are overrated pointguards.

D will... ::)
no jerry sloan, big strike
forced way out of utah after sloan let go
big contract
not produced
oft injured
plays more like mr glass nowadays
his only bright spot is his current play and contract will make brooklyn worse therefore giving us a better pick

It does kind of seem like Williams has made peace with probably never winning a championship and is ok with that outcome.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Williams is still a pretty darn good outside shooter and pretty solid from the line.  When everything else goes, he will still have that, which gives him a longer career possibility than Rondo who still (and will clearly always) struggles to hit the broad side of a barn from the foul line and behind the arc.

Check out this article where Baxter Holmes questions if Jordan Clarkson (uh, who?) is a better player than Rajon Rondo.... ouch.

Rondo.  His shooting has been poor but before the trade he was averaging 10.8 ast and 7.5 reb.  If they can't get things worked out in Dallas, he'll leave and go to a team that is a better fit.

I choose Rondo as well. Even though he is shooting just 42% he is still averaging 9, 6, and 5 for the Mavericks in under 30 minutes a game. Obviously not crazy great numbers in regards to what he has put up in the past but not a drastic after trade drop off transitioning to a team based on offensive ball movement where he doesn't handle the ball as much.

Williams is 13/6/3 in just over 31 minutes a game.  And while he is pretty awful from 2 point range, is still over 36% from three and over 81% from the line.
