It's so sad watching Rondo play now-a-days.
The thing is that what made Rondo unique and almost impossible to plan against was the "other" stuff he gave you besides Assists and PG duties. It was his hustle, his rebounding, his steals, lose balls and all the little things that made him unique. He didn't need the ball as much to impact a game back then.
Heck, I would take Rondo's 1st, 2nd and 3rd year in the league vs the Assist leader Rondo any day.
The Sad thing is that for some reason, he can't or won't do the other things used to make him special.
To answer your question, D-Will might be more "accommodating" than Rondo. And so, probably a better choice going forward.....I think. But that's not saying much about either player value I guess.
