Bengals D-Line is gonna dominate the Pats next week.

Going to require a herculean effort from Gronk and a major comeback off injury from Edelman to pull one out.

You sure about that?

It's going to be pretty difficult for that to happen since the Pats are going to play the Chiefs.

I would have much rather played the Bengals than KC.

Nice!  I jinxed 'em!  I posted that right before the fumble.

You can substitute exactly what I said for the Chiefs, though.  That matchup scares me.

Marvin Lewis has to get fired, right? No playoff wins, lost this game due to back to back personal foul penalties... bad coaching.

Thanks, Pho—you may have just helped my playoff bracket.  ;D

Yeah, the Chiefs will be a tough matchup, but at this point any playoff opponent will be a tough matchup for NE because of the Pats' injuries and the uncertainty surrounding guys like Edelman. I'm just hoping for the best.

Belichick would axe Burfict and Jones, I know that. Foolish moves from them.

Not sure about firing Lewis.

I'd feel good about the Pats against the Steelers. The Broncos don't really scare me because they don't have a QB. Houston would been a cupcake.

But teams with a great pass rush scare me.

Past a certain point, simply making the playoffs can't be enough. The coach has to bear some responsibility for losing the playoffs over and over with no victories. If the Bengals are content to roll with the same guy, that's sad for Bengals fans.

Agreed. Especially with how the Pat's O Line has been as of late. KC will probably be the toughest game next to the Super Bowl (if they make it). If they play the Steelers, their most important players will be banged up. If they play the Broncos, they will have everyone that they didn't have in Novemeber back. Given how that game went, that's also winnable, even in Denver.

If Maclin is out though, I think that hurts the Chief offense a lot. If the Pats double Kelce then Smith shouldn't have any place to throw the ball.

The Chief's pass rush should be problematic for us, but hopefully with the return of Edelman and Amendola/Gronk/LaFell being slightly more healthy Brady can get the ball out quick enough to keep the pass rush at bay.

Sooooooo. Jones tripped hard on synthetic marijuana. Think he gets the suspension now or next season?

PFT made it sound like it was a first time offense so he wouldn't get suspended for it.  I also have no clue if synthetic marijuana is even on the NFL's banned substances list.

But will BB bench him?  This happening  in a playoff prep week can't sit well with the coach.

Well, he hasn't missed a practice because of it so who knows.  I guess BB could punish him for creating a distraction but its not liked he's missed any time because of it, either.  Who knows.

That looked easy the first drive . Edlemen opens up things for Gronk . Let's hope they stay healthy
