I think with thomas, pressey will leave soon.. we need a taller point guard who can defend and run the pick n roll. And we need as much height as possible. Koufos and calathes will be something special and cheap for us.even coming off the bench

We could certainly use both of them. Calathes in particular is underutilized and may go back to Greece if he doesn't get a decent shot somewhere soon. It would be too bad, he's a good PG with size and a good defender.

The player I would really like on the Celtics though is Kostas Papanikolaou. He's the best of the three, and not being used at all in Houston since they got Josh Smith and since Terrence Jones returned.

Well if you haven't noticed we have actually passed the trade deadline, so it's pretty unlikely that Thomas or Pressey is going anywhere any time soon.
Based on Thomas' last two games there really isn't any reason to get rid of him, and he is also good at running the pick and roll soooooo... ::)
Jack of all trades, master of none.

I think it was clear that he was talking about next season, and he didn't say get rid of Thomas. He said with Thomas here Pressey will leave.

Calathes would be on ok backup but the C's already have a glut of guards locked up in Smart, IT, and AB. Obviously, he's better than Pressey but that's not saying much. Koufos is slightly overrated as well. He's a backup big and the C's already have Zeller. I love my Greeks but I would pass on both these guys.

I do agree with hpantazo though. Papanikolaou looks like he could be a very solid player at the 3. Also, Aleksandr Vezenkov is a very intriguing 19 year old prospect playing for Aris BC in Greece that could be a draft and stash type candidate.
