Pistons : Get Jackson and Prince. Boost their playoff chances

Suns: Lose Dragic and Thomas but get Knight, Thornton, 3 1sts (though we don't know still what they gave up to get Knight)

Celtics:  Thomas for Thornton and a late 1st

The Thunder turned the unhappy Reggie Jackson and Kendrick Perkins into a bench full of shooters and low-post offense.  That is absolutely amazing.

I'd add OKC, they got the starting C they craved - without the injury issues and salary commitment Lopez brings, and with the right to match offers if they want - and added Singler and Augustin to their bench.  Lost Jackson and Perk.  That seems like a win to me.

I need a map of all the moves before I can figure out who the winners and losers are.  However, I do know that the C's were one of the winners.  I love the IT trade...especially since he is on a very affordable contract for the next 3 years.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Losers: Sites with team salary and roster pages. I heard Hoopshype had to enlist reserves from all the surrounding states to come in and put out this fire.

Perk will reportedly be bought out, and the Clippers and Cavs have interest.

I'd call the Clips among the losers, they didn't fill any of their needs and may have ticked off Jamal Crawford in the process.  And I'm glad to see Brooklyn didn't shed Lopez either.

Can Perk actually help the Clips? at this stage?

ESPN reporting Heat's pitch for Goran Dragic is Norris Cole, Josh McRoberts, Birdman and two first-round picks.

If Phoenix was bluffing to get more for Dragic, it looks like it's working.  I doubt Phoenix is too excited about taking on McRoberts' contract, though.

I expect Phoenix targeted Josh McRoberts. That they wouldn't have done this deal without him.

Josh McRoberts shooting and passing ability is perfect for their offense and uptempo play.

The Celtics have now made 11 trades since the start of the season. A look at the work of Trader Danny and his staff: http://pbs.twimg.com/media/B-PPSZUIYAALRjN.jpg

McRoberts didn't wind up in the deal, though.

I'm almost certain Kanter will come off the bench, but regardless, holy crap -- what an upgrade.  Not to mention they also picked up Steve Novak from the Jazz.

Too bad. I would have loved to have seen McRoberts play with for Phoenix. Great fit.

Steven Adams is coming off surgery next week, at earliest, so Kanter should start immediately.  Kanter has a ton of offensive up-side, if he shows up ready to go and finds a groove early he might just steal that job from Adams.

AP Source: The Timberwolves are not bringing KG back for just this year. They want to do a 2-year extension with him.

Whoa! KG could join the 40+ club.
