Top 8 in rebounding (10.8 pg)
Top 2 in Block shots (3.8 pg)
17.1 ppg vs 12.1 ppg last season

6'8 235 PF with 7'2-7'3 wingspan, explosive, endless motor. Noticeable improvement on his jump shot, faceup game, post game from his 1st season. A terror on the defensive end that can rebound, block shots and guard 4 positions.  I was impressed with his play vs Kentucky

The Celtics have been trying to unload Brandon Bass for a while now, in large part because he doesn't really fit on the roster very well anymore.  So why do they need to replace him?

If the BPA at a given slot is clearly a 6'8'' PF, I'm OK with Ainge taking him so long as said PF shows signs of developing a credible outside shot.  Still, not ideal.

Really, the Celtics need to unload Bass and then replace his spot in the 4-man big rotation with a highly productive center who can play 28 minutes a night, with Zeller playing 15-20 minutes behind him.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Unless the center can guard multiple positions and hit the open jump shot (unless is a top center prospect) I think a guy like Mickey will get a long look with the clippers pick.  (Christmas another possiblity)

Bass IS a decent fit under CBS system.  Mickey just is a better rebounding/shot blocking version.   Sullinger + Mickey or KO or Mickey  = potential alternative solution to needing a starting center
