Ainge needs to trade for Demarcus Cousins within the next two or so years! He's a beast! I'm praying we can pry him away from SAC with a good offer.

GET IT DONE DANNY!

Heck, if Danny can land Andre Drummond I'd be happy.

In Boogie's defense he played internationally for USA and behaved (enough). He and Smart would be terrifying to play against. James Young could be the quasi-cool but still intense personality (34) that keeps those two out of Jail. If you have watched Boogie play an entire game and tell me you would not like him on your team, you are a liar or crazy. Dude is devastating.

Not a liar or crazy.

He's not a team player.

No knuckleheads.

What is your problem?  We once had a guy like Rondo and KG.  Aggressive characters that were great for the team.  Every team isn't going to be bunch of schoolboys filled with clean-cut players like the Spurs and quite frankly they are extremely boring to me.  That's why they won the championship and nobody cares.  I love a team with an edge to them and believe it or not Cousins is growing into his own and he has greatly matured over the years, just like Rondo did.  I swear great talents would step on and slap some people in the face and they wouldn't even know it smh.  To pass on a great big like Cousins when you have the chance to trade for him would be an epic mistake.

Sorry, KG and Rondo were not knuckleheads.

Let Sacramento lose with Cousins.

What makes Cousins a knucklehead?

Cousins gets thrown out of a game because he can't handle Marcus Smart's defensive pressure.

How is he going to handle the pressure of a seven game playoff series?

This. Cousins doesnt have the temperament for high pressure basketball.

So getting ejected means you don't have the temperament for playoff basketball?

There are plenty more where these came from.  Clearly, a group of knuckleheads who will never accomplish anything in the NBA.

You posted those clips and him getting ejected and chose my example for me. I wasn't really saying him getting ejected was the only reason why he doesn't have the right temperament.

When met with adversity or debatable referee calls he reacts negatively, distracts his teammates, and turns into a whiner, not a fighter. This has never resulted in his team being better off from his actions. If you cant see that when he gets ticked off in Sacramento then I don't know what to tell you.

KG, rondo and pierce on the other hand for the most part played better when angry.

Yeah agreed.  In college too.  And he can pass actually and I think plays in a smart way overall.

He hasn't had a good PG or coach as a big... two big factors... to me.

Not that he is flawless but I think overall he has been solid with his temperament this year (his worst game probably happened to be the game vs us).

And the upside is a little understated to me because I think Cousins is underrated at large.  He's a very dominant player.

Personally I'd give up quite a bit for him and I'm absolutely all for it.  I think alongside Smart he would be great and Stevens could make him the centerpiece of his offense in a way that say Duncan is with the Spurs.  Drawing double teams in the post and passing out.  I think Olynyk would be fantastic next to Cousins.

On January 1, 2012, head coach Paul Westphal sent Cousins home from the Kings' home game against the New Orleans Hornets, saying that Cousins was "unwilling/unable to embrace traveling in the same direction as his team; it cannot be ignored indefinitely."

On November 11, 2012, the league suspended Cousins for two games without pay for confronting San Antonio Spurs color commentator Sean Elliott "in a hostile manner" after he criticized Cousins for attempting to bully Tim Duncan on the court.

On December 22, 2012, Cousins was suspended indefinitely from the Kings, who accused him of "unprofessional behavior and conduct detrimental to the team."

On February 26, 2014, Cousins received a one-game suspension for punching Patrick Beverley in the stomach.

I think I'd rather Cousins over Okafor or Towns.  There's no guarantee we are going to get the top pick. Even if we do I think I still might prefer Cousins.

Reason being even if we get Okafor he is a freshman.   He more than likely isn't going to be like Tim Duncan right off the bat.

Obviously depends whether Cousins can be a team player though.  There are questions regarding both.  I would be thrilled with either I know that much though.   They are both talented.  I think the other stuff can be worked on.

LOL.  Why would you not want Cousins if you could get him without sacrificing Smart/Young?

I would easily give up our upcoming #6-8 pick plus pieces for Cousins.  He would be a starting 5 for us.  A starting 5 who would actually be top 5-10 at his position.

So he has a temper problem.  Ok.  So have a lot of talented players in the NBA.  Bottom line does he help you win.  Also I am not aware of any off-the court issues.  So if it's just him having temper issues.  I can deal with that, and I'm sure Brad Stevens will find a way to make it work.

The thing with Cousins personality is he is more than likely misunderstood.  A lot of players around the league don't KG.  pierce a years back on team usa I remember there were complaints about him.  Some people tell it like it is and people can't take it.  Do we want fake people?  I'd take someone who is real over someone who isn't.  If someone is a good guy and p lays hard that's fine too.

IT obviously depends on the player but because  a guy isn't liked that doesn't mean much to me.  It's like who is doing the not liking?  Lebron?

Who's saying Cousins isn't a team player? Lebron?

I tend to think Cousins is more in that Manny Ramirez stratosphere over KG but Manny did well here.

I think Cousins is more not the wisest tack in the shed.  I think he is a team player.  I Think he just lets his emotions get the best of him and doesn't hold back.  He's young and nto the smartest player In the world and somewhat crazy. He's like Rasheed Wallace in ways.

One of the great things about KG is that you knew players didn't like playing against him. He made life hard for them and he lifted those around him. Always a big advantage. If Cousins can bring some of that, then we could use it.

Cousins is a pipe dream. They just hired George Karl out in Sacramento so I highly doubt he's getting traded anytime soon. Unless its a Carmelo Anthony trade type of return. Which Boston might actually have if they deal KO Sully Smart and a few 1sts. The issue is that we have one value of our players and the rest of the league has a different less green view on our talents. I would love Cousins but its not happening.

You are insulting KG and PP if you compare those two to Cousins
In the PP Video it's the opponent hit him in the face and just flopped, and bad Ref calls
KG is doing it almost intentionally to show his toughness and it helped the team overall

With that said i am on board for getting Cousins because he is so talented
I will even give up our pick this year+ Clipps pick + Mavs pick and Bass/Prince/Thorton
But it doesn't change the fact that he is a knucklehead

I enjoy the enthusiasm but the Celtics pick this year (currently 9), the Clippers pick, the Mavs pick and Bass/Prince/Thornton isn't getting it done for a young player of arguable top 5-10 stature.

Kevin Love netted the #1 pick, and two assets in Bennett and Young. Kevin Love also demanded to be traded and only had a year remaining, whereas Boogie hasn't asked out and has three years after this remaining.

lol, the homerific spins around here

"If Boogie gets a tech/ejection, he's being a punk, but when KG/Pierce/Rondo/etc. did it, they were showcasing true Celtic spirit!  That said, I suppose we can take this punk off Sacramento's hands and we'll even throw in a few mediocre/late first rounders to sweeten the deal for them out of the kindness of our hearts."
