Also another question is , If we get a legit center like Okafor what happens to the mins for Sully, KO, Zeller?

CBS these days seems like he likes going with a smaller lineup.

"IF" the East stays as is? and "IF" Okafor can pull off a Tim Duncan and be productive in his 1st year....I mean "Tim Duncan rookie season" productive?

Then I think we could get a playoff spot next season.

Keep same roster, including Bass...keep Sully at 4...and hope that Marcus can get better (I believe he will).

That is a bit too many "IFs" for me...I'd rather Danny just flip him for Demarcus....

No man. We dont need Cousins. The guy is a cancer. Okafor will be a better professional and is just as skilled

No we wouldn't be a guaranteed playoff spot.  Okafor is a lousy defender so we'd still have little rim protection.  Okafor's offense would suffer because we don't have a true PG and the thought of Bradley passing into the post is downright scary.

Which is why entry passes will mostly be Marcus Smart's area, with Bradley spotting up in the corner, or running around screens somewhere.

It is not a guaranteed playoff team but it would have a legitimate shot at the playoffs.

I think Okafor will do quite well his rookie year. I am expecting something somewhat similar to what Greg Monroe did for the Pistons. Top 10 offense at C, good rebounding with poor defense. Maybe around 16-18ppg and 8-10rpg. Someone who can draw some double teams.

My biggest concern would be lack of playmaking from perimeter spots. If Ainge could find a second ball-handler / playmaker to come in at SG/SF to play alongside Marcus Smart, that would go a long way to convincing me it would be a sure-fire playoff team.

OK, I'm listening. Tell me exactly what makes him a "Cancer" or at least how you define cancer.

Yes, he does have some attitude issues and tends to mope and complain when things don't go his way. Even at his young age, he is immature when compared to the rest of his age group. I will definitely give you that. However, that doesn't make someone a cancer. Cancers spread their disease. Is their even a shred of evidence that Cousins is a negative influence on the team and that the team is worse off due to his mere presence? No. In fact, whenever Cousins is out for an extended period of time, the Kings fall completely apart.

If complaining to refs and doing some immature things (like flinging Smart to the ground) makes someone a Cancer, then you need to apply that label to guys like Rondo and even KG. When a Celtic does it, it's fire and passion. When it's a non-Celtic, they are a cancer. I love KG but he has done some incredibly immature things and continues to do them at age 38 and Rondo has seen to have matured a bit since his injury, but prior to that he was a time bomb waiting to go off, tossing balls at refs, etc.

Please tell, in specifics, how Cousins is a cancer. Let me know how he destroyed team morale and negatively influenced teammates. Let me know how he would be addition by subtraction for Sacramento like a Cancer definitely would. Please give me some support for the Cancer label.

Rondo is a cancer, Josh Smith is a cancer, but Cousins..
doesn't look like a cancer to me, at least so far

If we had a big center, we would make the playoffs this year.

I think you've made the case best. Continually complaining and moaning to the refs, while his team is being attacked on the other end. Inability to deal with pressure by a rookie playing tough defense. These are the events that his teammates see continually.  Not many watch Sacramento on a regular basis to see the nightly antics of Cousins. I'm sure there are more. I think he must feel, "I'm the leader on this team" his team mates begin emulating him, and acting the same way. Cancer.

KG seldom if ever complained to refs, while his team gave up baskets at the other end. He talked trash during the action with in the game, he was the defensive voice of the team.

Not a chance.

I'd trade him for Cousins in a heartbeat if there was ever a chance to do so.

We'd be in the mix probably, but in no way a lock.

If Brad Stevens takes the Indiana job we could trade for Cousins and hire Mike Malone. Everybody's happy.

Cousins would be the best big in the East. Lure Kevin Love. That's a contender.

Aside: if we get any coach other than Stevens I'd want Ron Adams or Thibbs.
