Don't spend too much time worrying about it.  I agree with the above post to that effect.

The Celtics aren't gonna make a splash in the RFA market this summer.  Butler, Leonard, Harris are all staying put.

I've heard New York will make a big play for Harris this summer.

It just doesn't make sense to me that Orlando wouldn't match.  Who else are they going to spend that money on?

It depends on what New York throws at him and of course where Orlando drafts.

I see that most of these scenarios have Cauley-Stein as our next center. I would like that too but Bleacher Report had a mock draft with him going at 6 to Sacramento two days ago. Right now we have the 10th worst record. That may change after the trade deadline but I think a 7 foot rim defender who is going to get a great deal of exposure during the NCAA Tournament will only move up in the draft not down. We may already have forfeited our chance to secure the middle of our defense with meaningless wins often aided by the contributions of veterans who should have been moved already.

Yeah, I've seen that with several mocks, too. I just don't buy it. I don't think Cousins should/can play the 4 as effectively as he does the 5. I mean, he's already extremely dominant as a 5 on both sides of the ball, so why waste a good draft pick on someone who is probably going to be a Tyson Chandler clone? I think he slips past Sacramento.

I like Team E, and I do think it's realistic with our stash of picks. The team has tons of potential,but I'm always worried about not having any established talent or veteran guys to help lead the young guys, no matter how good they are.

This assumes we don't use all those accumulated picks and expiring contracts* and tradeable assets to move up in the draft. That won't net us the #1 spot (Okafur, obviously), but might be enough to grab Cauly-Stein.

Smart, blank, blank, blank, Cousins.  Now the blanks are not just anyone but solid players.  I think PF would be Sully or Olynk (1 will be gone in Cousins trade).  Bradley could still be here but think we could improve SG and SF through draft or FA.
