it is time to expand zellers offense,he really has some nice moves right and left with his flip hook and nice form on outside shot.sully at moment looks fatigued with his outside shot  and his drive to hoop ineffective and awkward-at the moment.Zeller has in some ways been consistent and plays within his skill set.Even staunchest fans are suffering from this shuffling  of rotations and trading-Ihave a 19yr old that played at high level and he's crackers at moment i just can't imagine james young dealing with all the movement from travel to the pressure to score , while being ill prepared for nba defense and the life of nba rookie.

A rim protector ,there is not one raw rim protector in d -league or player that hasn't lived up to expectations just look what miami found ,a center and a quard----KO is not a center and either is sully and that new backup, you really got to be kidding--this team is playing like space jam and one flew over a cukoo's nest.

I'm with you, C4E, and I am genuinely sad about it.

I'm not. Experimenting is what CBS should be doing this year. Keep in mind - Stevens is a year removed from his NBA rookie year, he's still learning as well.

Didja see where Pitino recently admitted that he'd been too impatient in his tenure, that CBS is doing things the he should've.

Give 'em time, and celebrate the little things: Watching Smart's flashes of brilliance, KO's maturity, Bass's professionalism, Bradley's hustle.

I am super on board with this. My boy Chris Mannix last night said you notice that Kelly's versatility is missing off the bench and I couldn't believe it.

Do not miss the dude, even though a year ago I owned Kelly Olynyk stock. Zeller coming off the bench and more importantly real minutes for Bass are way more valuable if you want to, you know, win games

I'll be a little sad when Olynyk comes back.

I can't believe how much hate is thrown around to our own players. Young players who still have room to improve

There's not ONE player who doesn't get junk passed his way from posters. I LOVE this young team, and feel grateful to be in the position we are.

I'm going to go find that 'all purpose feel good thread'.
I trust Danny Ainge

I think our offense certainly suffers without him.

He contributes a lot to the overall flow with his passing and stretching of the floor even when he's not scoring a lot himself. Nice role player.

Great words from a great man

I guess the Celtics would be a fun team to root for if you got high all the time. But I don't.

I expected this to be a thread about the team looking better without Olynyk, and it seems as though that's what most of the posters after the OP presumed. If you read the OP and his subsequent post(s), it seems to be more about getting Zeller more looks and Sully less, then some rambling about his kid and rotations, and then my eyes glazed over.

Come on man, what is this, realgm?

I don't care if the team was 15 Brian scalabrine's, I'd still enjoy watching them

There's a lot to be excited about! Marcus smart keeps getting better and better. Sully is looking pretty good. He just needs to work on getting in shape, and consistency. We have more picks than we know what to do with.

Just because we aren't great right now doesn't mean we aren't fun to watch
I trust Danny Ainge

I wasn't jabbing you. I thought this season would be easier to watch if I was a pothead! Not saying in anyway you are.
