Apparently, Clippers fan say that he has broken stuff before...

Clippers inquiring about Crowder and Turner is just that No deal looks to be happening as of right now

Chris @Chrisclipsla  ·
Clippers have also expressed interest in Crowder as well as Austin Rivers

Also, this could be a realistic possibility since the Clippers were interested in Green, and continue to be searching for a SF, but balked at Ainge's price.

Green could have potentially been in a deal for Matt Barnes, Jamal Crawford and a first-round pick – likely the Clippers’ 2019 selection – but that was a cost the Clippers didn’t want to pay.

I don't want to trade Turner until the trade deadline at least. I like how Stevens has been using Turner as the 1st team ball handler and having Smart come to pg against the opponent's 2nd team. I think for Smarts development this is the best course to give him experience and confidence.

Doesn't it always depend on what you're getting back?  Always bugged by people that are "willing" to trade players they don't value much but not those that they do value.

I've got nothing really against Turner, but I'd probably move him if someone were willing to eat Nelson's last year.

Turner is too cheap to move.  I'd keep him even if just for a the 2 years.  We are looking at shedding salary and getting prospects/picks.  We still have bass, nelson and thornton (prince also), move them first.
why trade crowder?

Of course it does, people are more willing to trade Turner but only if they can get back some value.

Mark my words: The Celtics aint helping the Clippers this year. They are not going to make that unprotected pick worse. Especially since the west is a bloodbath and the Clips could potentially be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs. They can take Austin Rivers if they want because he's nothing at this point but deadweight. But no to turner or crowder. I like how those guys have played and I see them as valuable role players as the Celtics rebuild.

The only way the celtics would hypothetically help the clips is if that proposed trade went through because it gives the celtics more trade assets and another pick.

what can they give us back for Crowder other than a late 1st rd pick, we already have tons of those . I want hard nosed players that are you know , actually players and somewhat proven in the league .  Chances we get a better player than Crowder in the late first rd is maybe 25% ?

Give me Crowder all day , unless Danny has no plans to re-sign him .

Or if Crowder's price tag is too high.

Obviously you are thinking about trades in simple terms.  Lots of ways to get something else from any team in the NBA.  And of course, the point is to get value for value.  If you don't like what you are getting, then don't trade.  The issue is that posters only want to trade guys they don't mind losing.  That will get you nowhere fast.

And I am not suggesting that we trade Crowder.  I like him too.  But there are a few guys in the entire league that are untradeable (except for each other).  Everyone else depends on the price.

If the Clips really want help at SF, well I have a savvy veteran for them. His name is Gerald Wallace, aka the artist formerly known as Crash.

He really could help someone . . .

That is true. A little pricey though.
