PJ Tucker is probably a good comparable player wise and he received a 3 yr/16.5M deal.

What about Zeller, Turner, Bass, Clips pick, Cavs pick for DeAndre Jordan? As long as he agrees to sign extension.

The Clips aren't looking to go backward, though.  They see themselves as contenders.

Then they sign KG when he gets bought out  ;)

If the Clippers are looking to move Deandre Jordan, Ainge will definitely be ready to take advantage. Unsure what a fair price is given that he's such a polarizing player and becomes a UFA at end of season.

I don't think the Clippers will move anyone out of their rotation.  I wouldn't be surprised if Danny looks at moving more players for draft choices and getting a third team involved.  Might as well deal some of the marginal talent and reduce salary.
Bass-Thorton will become more attractive as the Feb deadline approaches.  Wallace has too much salary.  He'd be a great trade to a team who has a player who A) gets injured  B) Has a contract at the end of the season that will expire.

Bass belongs in Portland.  Everything about it feels right.  He can be the new Jerome Kersey / Buck Williams.  :)  Nab a highly protected first and call it a day.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I'd give them Evan Turner for a 2020 pick swap with some protections in our favor. Throw in a young asset like Bullock and we'll be laughing.

Turner's just eating up playing time from Marcus Smart and has NO place on this team over the long term.

Crowder is a work horse and good for the locker room, but if we get a first round pick for him you can't turn it down. He's a free agent this summer.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Crowder is not getting traded.  I doubt Turner goes anywhere...he's productive and on short money/years.

They team has ample cap space as it is to sign a nice player.  No need to dump every other valuable young player on your team for more.

Why would we help the Clippers when we own their first round pick this year???

I guess it would be so we could help ourselves with an additional first in 2020. It's fun trading all of our players for draft picks. I'm surprised more teams don't do it.

Yeah, I'm not helping LAC out unless we get a future LIGHTLY protected 1st or the ability to switch picks with them a year or two for our trouble.
