I think Danny has had a few chances at acquiring Asik...I'm kinda glad now, that he passed...Zeller is better overall.

If Rondo were still here and Danny Ainge was trying to build team into a winner of next 1-2 years, then yes, I'd love to have Asik here.

Asik would be have been a perfect replacement for Perk when we had KG, PP and that front line.   He does not need the ball, rebounds well and can play decent D.  I would not want him now, however, because he does not suit us that well.   NO needs a SF and add that to Davis and Asik and I think they will be ok.   I thought Evans outplayed their starting SF, easily.  If they had a good SF look out.

Heck yeah I'd take Asik.  Not for max money of course, but I'd take him.

Defense, Rebounding.  He's better than anything on the roster in those 2 categories, and he'd help.  I think he's the perfect fit next to Sullinger.

I'd pay DeAndre Jordan the max though over whatever Asik would get.  Jordan fits perfectly here.
