I don't care about that particularly. Asik isn't going to stunt their development. I'm saying I'd rather have Asik over Zeller if its a pure "choose one scenario".

Zeller makes more sense for us now because of salary figures. But if I could just choose one, I take Asik's defense and rebounding.

Zeller is a nice little player, but he's not an adequate inside presence neither offensively nor defensively. We need an upgrade at the position, and Zeller doesn't give you much of anything that Olynyk can't give you off the bench.

Ultimately, I'd like us to find a real starting C, and keep Bass and either Olynyk or Zeller as parts of a 4-man front court rotation. So we'll see how the balls will fall down.

I would have been psyched to have Asik if we'd landed Kevin Love.  He would have been a great fit on the interior.

I would rather have Mozgov...Asik just seems to be Unhappy all the time...Decent player at times...but always looks like someone stole his lunch.

I don't want Asik at whatever level of contract he's going to get.

I wouldn't mind Zeller as a backup, since Asik costs too much to be a back up and isn't good enough to be a championship caliber center

Man I was all about him couple years ago .  .....ugh ......I think he has digressed .

He looks HEAVY and now plodding ...at least to me.......there was a time I thought he was talked about as a court runner . :-X

Really the first game I watched a lot of him in a LONG time.

Not,the same quick reaction I remember in Chicago or early in Houston.

I guess , it's because Davis is sooooooo freakin good ....

But seeing him and Davis out there side by side really woke me up to,what Asik really amounts too.

He wouldn't be much of an upgrade for our team .  I think I still like Zeller better .  ,  no,I take that back ...I definitely like Zeller better .

Asik ......value is on the DOWN slide ......he looks slow and not particularly talented .   Wouldn't pay huge money for him .  Rather have Née Née , Chandler ..etc

Because Asik is better at basketball than Zeller. It's quite simple, really.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Im not sure why anyone would want Asik over Zeller. Zeller is 22, and a very efficient player. I doubt Zeller will ever be the defender Asik is but i don't think anyone can be certain in that assertion. He is a very young capable player whom is making strides in his game this year. Simply, I would prefer Zeller over Asik in every way. He might not ever be a star but Asik is certainly not a star in any sense.
2019 Historical Draft - Golden State

C - Bill Russell/Joel Embiid
PF - Giannis Antetokounmpo/Tommy Heinsohn
SF - Kevin Durant/Billy Cunningham
SG - Bruce Bowen/David Thompson
PG - Isiah Thomas/James Harden
