You do realize that for most of the game, Marcus Smart is not featured on offense.

Well who would ever feature Marcus Smart on offense? I try watching the game but Smart is about as noticeable as the beer guy in the upper deck. Smart makes no impact on the game whatsoever except that one whole steal a game or that one whole time he sorta interferes with a play and everyone goes "Ooooohhh ahhhh. He plays sooooo hard." Yeah. Rondo used to never do that.

No. When I watch the NBA I like to see NBA basketball players but Smart is more of an Oklahoma Stater. But he plays hard. He always plays hard.

honestly sucks vs led league in assists and rebs at his position.

Rondo is varsity and Marcus Smart is junior varsity.

The most noticeable part of watching Smart so far is his hair.

I like when he bumped a ref in the playoffs against the Hawks and left his teammates to bail him out in game two? Or his refusal to take a call from the league office which led to a suspension against the Knicks or going to a bday party against his coaches wishes? Or my personal favorite, refusing to play defense for the last two years....but hey he played hurt in one playoff game so it's cool....

First 23 games of Rondo's career was incredible.  3.6pts/g 2.3ast/g.  Lights out shooting game high 13 points.  Floor general 7 assist in one game.

But why even make the comparison at all?? How Smart is playing as a ROOKIE through thirty-some-odd games has nothing to do with Rondo's career. We are talking about two different players. So people like Smart?? This is a team that is not going to the playoffs and at this point is playing the kids to build for the future. So naturally, signs of growth in Marcus Smart's play will be noticed. Deal with it.
