I named my guinea pig Jared Sullinger because she has the same build.
WOW LOL
but in all seriousness, I would trade Bradley before I'd trade Sully
Idk why, but I doubt we'll find any takers for Sully, we'll be lucky getting a 2nd rounder.
That's patently ridiculous. Even if you don't have a particularly high opinion of him, you have to admit that the odds of hitting on a player as good as Jared Sullinger aren't that high in the late 1st round, never mind the 2nd.
It's incredibly difficult to not have value if you're at all productive and still on your rookie contract. If we offered Sullinger around for expiring contracts and a late 1st teams would bite our hands off. (And we shouldn't.)
fair enough, I made that judgement because I still don't see Sullinger as a starting PF on a contender, and I think he is a great backup PF on a contender. I don't know why, but for some reason I still think his weight/back is an issue, though (knock on wood) he's been pretty good this year. Of course if anyone in the league offers a 1st to us for Sullinger, I'd bite instantly. But just in my honest opinion as current Sullinger, I think he is worth a 2nd rounder
You're right, Sully for Powell sounds like a fair trade

My opinion of Sully has come back down to Earth a little bit after it appears as if he's somehow put weight
on during the season, but don't be silly. He's a productive forward with intriguing qualities (can shoot and post up, has great hands and the ability to slash to the basket from the perimeter, rebounds well, passes very well etc.) and is cheap. He's young enough to still improve at 22 despite some people acting as if he's a 28 y.o. with no potential left. Danny wouldn't trade him for a late 1st, never mind a 2nd.
This season is boring, but it's time we find other ways to entertain ourselves outside of seeing who can best fast-track this team to perpetual mediocrity.
