I named my guinea pig Jared Sullinger because she has the same build.

WOW LOL

but in all seriousness, I would trade Bradley before I'd trade Sully

Idk why, but I doubt we'll find any takers for Sully, we'll be lucky getting a 2nd rounder.

Sully is the only jersey I own that is still on the team. #RIPPierceandRondo and I of course have a larry legend jersey. That being said I agree sully is looking more and more like he should not be part of this rebuild. For example I really want Trey Lyles with the Clippers or 76ers pick this year and it would only create a bigger log jam. Here's to hoping for a sale on Young sherseys

I like Sullinger but I have some issues with him this season.

He doesn't hustle on defense.  I think he can play some good defense but I am much happier with Olynyk for example because he hustles.  There are times where Sullinger just isn't making rotations to help on defense.  Pretty disappointing.

I like a lot of his offense but I think it's time to cut out a lot of those threes.

He's still good and cheap yes.  But right now if I was to trade one of our young prospect players out with picks to get someone it would be him.  I like Olynyk more and I hope we can get a real center.  We will see who we can get but I think he's a guy who will get paid and I don't know if I want to pay him.

He could come along very well.  He's a guy who will benefit a lot by getting in better shape and hustling consistently.  Just being more consistent in general.  Because he does have a lot of skill.  I'm just worried he won't.  We have a lot of needs.

That's patently ridiculous. Even if you don't have a particularly high opinion of him, you have to admit that the odds of hitting on a player as good as Jared Sullinger aren't that high in the late 1st round, never mind the 2nd.

It's incredibly difficult to not have value if you're at all productive and still on your rookie contract. If we offered Sullinger around for expiring contracts and a late 1st teams would bite our hands off. (And we shouldn't.)

I too, think he has talent but is squandering it.

I see a lot of Mel Turpin in him.

Sully scares me!!!  on one hand I like the guy for his stamina and on those nights when he just will not be denied the ball under the basket on offense and defense.  on the other hand, you just don't know if he might snap and come unglued at one of the official's calls.  he seems to always be living "right on the edge".

So I'm undecided about the guy.  I just hope he doesn't turn into another DeMarcus Cousins type!!!

Oh c'mon people. Yes, he's a work in progress. But he's also a 22 year-old averaging 13 and 8, highest PER on the team outside of Zeller (who plays far fewer minutes), 2-to-1 assist ratio for a big man, and doing it in 28 mpg. Has improved his 3PT shot as the team wanted him too.

Does he have defensive issues? Consistency issues? Sure, but he's pretty darn good overall. Let's hope he gets even better.

Not exactly a 2nd rounder.

fair enough, I made that judgement because I still don't see Sullinger as a starting PF on a contender, and I think he is a great backup PF on a contender. I don't know why, but for some reason I still think his weight/back is an issue, though (knock on wood) he's been pretty good this year. Of course if anyone in the league offers a 1st to us for Sullinger, I'd bite instantly. But just in my honest opinion as current Sullinger, I think he is worth a 2nd rounder

He is a great value for where he was drafted .  Well worth the later pick we got him at.

It's not like he was taken 1 st  lottery pick .

I agree , we can not a better player with out emptying the bank ......

I d trade AB in a heartbeat before Sully......bigs with his skills are not common.

He is entertaining and played well ......I ve enjoyed watching another big like bIg Al rumble around under the bucket .   Fun he see the team getting a few rebounds.

Sully has been used out of position .

I think once paired with a good Center like Drummond or Duncan , he would shine even more.

He is too short and slow , when defense collapse on him .  Lucky he passes well with high IQ .

Sully and KO are good guys ...they need help

You're right, Sully for Powell sounds like a fair trade  ::)

My opinion of Sully has come back down to Earth a little bit after it appears as if he's somehow put weight on during the season, but don't be silly. He's a productive forward with intriguing qualities (can shoot and post up, has great hands and the ability to slash to the basket from the perimeter, rebounds well, passes very well etc.) and is cheap. He's young enough to still improve at 22 despite some people acting as if he's a 28 y.o. with no potential left. Danny wouldn't trade him for a late 1st, never mind a 2nd.

This season is boring, but it's time we find other ways to entertain ourselves outside of seeing who can best fast-track this team to perpetual mediocrity.

Bench the guy until he loses 35 pounds.
Seriously.  You are trying to lose, anyway....now is the perfect time to do it.

Sully loses 35 pounds he is a borderline all star imo.

I think he's a solid player with a bit of potential.  He's incredibly slow at the moment.  Slowest in the league perhaps.  KO looks like Usain Bolt next to Sully.

Hopefully he can lose some weight and gain some speed.

I like sully and think of him as a good starting pf on a fair to good team.  He is a solid rebounder, good passing big, good offensive game.  But he is not a dominate player at his posistions.  If sully was killing on the boards at the least I'd think differently.
We can't make him 6'9" or 6'10" and that is the difference.  He's 6'7" maybe 8" mot fleet footed more of a plodder ala Charles Oakley but with more offensive skills.  Is he going to improve from here??
I don't think in any great jump.  You can argue for different reasons that bass and ko help the team just as much.  Bass is more than likely gone.  Kelly has true offensive potential.  He rebounds well, passes better and even though he gets knocked on defense on cb I feel he plays it as well if not better than sully.

id be looking at sully, Bradley and a pick (or five  ::) to go after a star.
